  1. ? I think he already filed the extractor on the wrong place then asked the question...
  2. EAA is the only one that carries it.
  3. Maybe a small piece of brass got stuck in between? or a sand or something. Do you tumble your brass and loads?
  4. For open you need the light recoil master.
  5. I notice that some clump together. I now mix and stir powder before loading.
  6. For the record, the Brazos thumbshield is NOT welded to the frame in any way, shape, or form. If you do that, you (or your gunsmith) are an idiot. It's installed via a very simple cut in the frame that holds the shield in place when the grip is re-installed. Please do not spread misinformation about things about which you have zero understanding. My apologies! easy grasshopper!
  7. Yes..its labor extensive. Have done it on both my open.
  8. Yep! we are out of luck for now until enough request for those parts?
  9. These top ends and comped EAA are only available in Europe and Australia. Dont have it in the US.
  10. When I started with open gun, I went to a 9major in 2001 even before 9major became popular, everyone said to me that its not soft as 38super, few years later, everyone started shooting it and found a way of makin it work. I switched over to 38 super but after about 3 local matches, I went back to 9mm coz of PIA of picking up brass. At the time, my shooting skils couldnt tell the difference from both anyways. Now, that my skills are highly developed(master class) I still shoot 9major. I buy 9mm brass for 15k for about 500.oo compare to 5000 pcs of 38 super and recycling the brass every 6months and buying more to keep my brass at 5000pcs for $500.00 really big difference in amount of brass.
  11. BINGO! your frame is small frame and wont accompany the 38super cases(its to long) 9x21 question about sinkin in the barrel is right..that was my question at first but when I stuck and fired a 9mm load it went bang! so I shot with it. If you like the gun that much I would definitely invest in a new barrel in 9mm just to make it right. Rich(RIID) at Canyon Creek is the gunsmith you are looking for on Eaa. I must say Rich 9x21 brass is kinda rare now but they are avail.
  12. Just want to give you heads up...Hunters outlet has the Eaa that dont have the updated top end! if you want the problem of the lugs, you can buy it and wait a WHILE! for Eaa to replace it. CHOICE IS YOURS..
  13. Pm sent. Got one just sitting in my Safe. Mine, got the new updated top end.
  14. I actually have a 9x21 and shoot 9mm with it! no problem. just need to get good mags. Never change to 38 super unless you like to buy expensive brass!
  15. I was just wondering how much demand do people have to own an Open top end in 9mm. Much like this picture but not exact compensator. I hear that this gun would retail for$3000 if CZ releases it.
  16. Post a picture of the bottom of your grip. I'm sure that it will. Might have to just file down the bottom of your frame for it to go on.
  17. Its a feel for me...I know what works and dont work. Just a shooting experience and you see all different kinds of malfunctions.
  18. I have that video and it doesnt say much. He just says you need to file the inside of the barrel slot for timing issue? that's it?
  19. Can anyone shed any light on how to fit a CZ barrel? step 1,2 3 etc..
  20. Grams basepads can increase your capacity or get rescomp mags .40... If you want to stick with STI, get Grams base pads.
  21. Yes! big time. I did that and bought both my open gun and had my buddies try the STI aluminum grip open gun and the STI Polymer grip open. Difference is night and day. Has something to do with Vibration and frequency or the frame when you fire the gun. Its like shooting an Eaa or CASPIAN(all metal gun) versus XD or Glock?
  22. why not save time and just chrome plate your mags? It would be the simple thing to do right?
