Sounds like a cool game. Do you have a picture of the thrower?
  3. How many people have had good or bad luck with 3-gun gear. I’m having a problem getting any response back from them about an order I placed over two months ago. First part of June I call and asked about it and was told it was going out that night via 3 day UPS. It was in the stack of stuff that needed to go out before he went to a match out of town. Well 3 days plus a weekend came and went and no package. The only reason I called back is I have problems with UPS. So I called again and was told it didn’t ship and will go out tomorrow. Again to be shipped 3 day UPS well that was the middle of June and still no package. Since then I’ve left him an e-mail as well as a few voice mails to find out what’s going on and nothing.
  4. Well at least he hasn't carved your wifes name in his rifle stock yet? Or has he???? Hmmmmmm

    3 Little Pigs

Three Little Pigs went out to dinner one night. The waiter comes and takes their drink order. "I would like a Sprite," said the first little piggy. "I would like a Coke," said the second little piggy. "I want water, lots and lots of water," said the third little piggy. The drinks are brought out and the waiter takes their orders for dinner. "I want a nice big steak," said the first piggy. "I would like the salad plate," said the second piggy. "I want water, lots and lots of water," said the third little piggy. The meals were brought out and a while later the waiter approached the table and asked if the piggies would like any dessert. "I want a banana split," said the first piggy. "I want a root beer float," said the second piggy. "I want water, lots and lots of water," exclaimed the third little piggy. "Pardon me for asking," said the waiter! to the third little piggy, "but why have you only ordered water all evening?" You're gonna LOVE this.... Hold on to your seat . The third piggy says - "Well, somebody has to go 'Wee, wee, wee, all the way home!"

    Hamster Healer

If you have raised kids (or been one), and gone through the pet syndrome including toilet-flush burials for dead goldfish, the story below will have you laughing out LOUD! I had to take my son's hamster to the vet. Here's what happened: Just after dinner one night, my son came up to tell me there was "something wrong" with one of the two hamsters he holds prisoner in his room. "He's just lying there looking sick," he told me. "I'm serious, Dad. Can you help?" I put my best hamster-healer statement on my face and followed him into his bedroom. One of the little rodents was indeed lying on his back, looking stressed. I immediately knew what to do. "Honey," I called, "come look at the hamster!" Oh, my gosh," my wife diagnosed after a minute. "She's having babies." "What?" my son demanded. "But their names are Bert and Ernie, Mom!" I was equally outraged. "Hey, how can that be? I thought we said we didn't want them to reproduce," I accused my wife. "Well, what do you want me to do, post a sign in their cage,?" she inquired. (I actually think she said this sarcastically!) "No, but you were supposed to get two boys!" I reminded her, (in my most loving, calm, sweet voice, while gritting my teeth together). "Yeah, Bert and Ernie!" my son agreed. "Well, it's just a little hard to tell on some guys, ya know," she informed me. (Again with the sarcasm, ya think?) By now the rest of the family had gathered to see what was going on. I shrugged, deciding to make the best of it. "Kids, this is going to be a wondrous experience, I announced. "We're about to witness the miracle of birth." "OH, Gross!", they shrieked. "Well, isn't THAT just Great!; what are we going to do with a litter of tiny little hamster babies?" my wife wanted to know. (I really do think she was being snotty here, too. don't you?) We peered at the patient. After much struggling, what looked like a tiny foot would appear briefly, vanishing a scant second later. "We don't appear to be making much progress," I noted. "It's breech," my wife whispered, horrified. "Do something, Dad!" my son urged. "Okay, okay." Squeamishly, I reached in and grabbed the foot when it next appeared, giving it a gingerly tug. It disappeared. I tried several more times with the same results. "Should I call 911?" my eldest daughter wanted to know. "Maybe they could talk us through the trauma." (You see a pattern here with the females in my house?) "Let's get Ernie to the vet," I said grimly. We drove to the vet with my son holding the cage in his lap. Breathe, Ernie, breathe," he urged. "I don't think hamsters do Lamaze," his mother noted to him. (Women can be so cruel to their own young. I mean what she does to me is one thing, but this boy is of her womb, for God's sake.) The vet took Ernie back to the examining room and peered at the little animal through a magnifying glass. "What do you think, Doc, a C-section?" I suggested scientifically. "Oh, very interesting," he murmured. "Mr. and Mrs. Cameron, may I speak to you privately for a moment?" I gulped, nodding for my son to step outside. "Is Ernie going to be okay?" my wife asked. Oh, perfectly," the vet assured us. "This hamster is not in labor. In fact, that isn't EVER going to happen... Ernie is a boy." "What!?" "You see, Ernie is a young male. And occasionally, as they come into maturity, like most male species, they um.... er.... masturbate. Just the way he did, lying on his back." He blushed, glancing at my wife. "Well, you know what I'm saying, Mr.. Cameron." We were silent, absorbing this. "So Ernie's just...just...Excited?", my wife offered. "Exactly," the vet replied, relieved that we understood. More silence. Then my viscous, cruel wife started to giggle. And giggle. And then even laugh loudly. "What's so funny?" I demanded, knowing, but not believing that the woman I married would commit the upcoming affront to my flawless manliness. Tears were now running down her face. "It's just...that...I'm picturing you pulling on its... its...teeny little..." she gasped for more air to bellow in laughter once more. "That's enough," I warned. We thanked the Veterinarian and hurriedly bundled the hamsters and our son back into the car. He was glad everything was going to be okay. "I know Ernie's really thankful for what you've done, Dad," he told me. "Oh, you have NO idea," my wife agreed, collapsing with laughter. 2 - Hamsters $10 1 - Cage $20 Trip to the Vet $30 Pictures of your hubby pulling on the hamster's wacker........Priceless!
  13. I did the same thing with a 22/35 conversion had no probmlems at all. I had a 22 and I bought a 35 upper and it fit the first time right out of the box.
  14. Kelly your right that has to be the best story about this dog. Even though he did tell it at dinner that night. Did he tell you the one about the UPS man?
  15. I’m trying to send a pistol to a licensed FFL dealer. How do I go about doing this? Do I need the FFL dealer to send me a copy of his license so I can go to a pack and mail place and have proof that it’s going to a licensed person? Or do I have my FFL dealer send it for me? Or just play stupid on where they ask for contents and put something else?
  16. Williams is the company Kurt is thinking about.
  17. How many people use the Mechanix type of Glove for shooting pistol, rifle or shotgun? How do they work for grabbing mags or shotgun shells? Do you cut the trigger finger or any other mods that you do to them?
  18. Does anybody have any good luck with low recoil slugs when they sight them in I can't get any consistent groups when I use them so I use full power slugs. I can get groupings of about 4” at 50 yards with full power slugs and with low recoil I can maybe get 12” groups.
  19. Beta mag is a beta "c" mag which can hold 50 to 100 rounds.
  20. I haven't seen any training videos for 3-gun either. But one could do is do a little adapting of one of the video's you talked about in to a 3-gun training video. Because all the basics are all the same.
  21. And when you get Benny to make you that AR Upper make sure you have him put his comp on it. Benny I've got to say it's one of the best comp's that i've shot. Kurt and I (Todd's team mates from colorado) had a side by side test and your won hands down. I left mine the nice shinny finish you left on it when Kurt got it from you. Dean
  22. Pacman is correct on this one well so is everyone. But the way pacman had his 1100 set up is the way i've got mine set up right now and it works great for eveything from 3-gun all year long to doves in the fall to deer in the winter. The way i've got mine set up is with a 21" barrel with rem chokes and fiber optic sights. I've also have the easy loader on it. I use a 8+1 extension tube. Some people add side saddles to hold a few extra rounds. Hope this helps you.
  23. Stick with the 21" barrel and find a shorter tube extension. Chote make one that works that holds 9 rounds total (8+1) that sticks out past the end of the barrel about a 1/2".
  24. The perfect way to set that up would have been to use the standard rifle sights that they offer for the slug barrels. It's the way I've got my 1100 set up but I have a 21" barrel and I built mine for about half the price Remington wants for it.
