  1. Oh I agree, I just saw them for sale and assumed they were until I dug in to it a bit. Im more than happy to wait for a solid product!
  2. Possibly, I did see a review where the guy testing it kept having it shut off randomly. Hope they figure it out I really like my other Holosun Optics
  3. Those 507C’s are out. Been looking at messing with one on my PCC. Optics Planet has them at least. Just checked, looks like 5-7 weeks ship time, so they must be pre order
  4. You could tell energy wasn’t at 100%, I didn’t hear one Panda Grunt! ?
  5. The sear is easy, it’s a pin a spring and 2 pieces. If you need help getting it back together shoot me a PM and I can help. Once you do it one time you’ll be fine
  6. Get some files at minimum, needle files are cheap and work great in my experience. Dremel can get get carried away real fast, so if you go that route.... well don’t, it can ruin your part quick!
  7. I’m usually mashing that sucker so fast I don’t have time to think about it lol. I’d agree with that statement though as it is weaker so the force to move it is less than a stock spring.
  8. I have the original reduced power trigger return spring in mine that I put in it and have had 0 issues with it, I probably have 12-15K rounds on it or so. One issue to look out for that I have ran in to and it was a bonehead mistake on my part - the screw that holds the trigger bar horseshoe spring in place (and the mag release spring) has worked loose on me and it doesn't allow the trigger to catch the hammer to drop or cock it. Was bonehead on my part because I didn't loctite it back in place when I modified the mag release spring.
  9. I know we have talked about this before, but you may as well automate the press at this point!
  10. Disagree, Open, Prod and PCC are all really popular in Colorado
  11. So my question on all of this still is the same as day 1, why? If I am not using it in the COF, and there is no competitive advantage gained from using it, why can't shooters stick their load and make ready mag there? That's all I want so I have easy access to my 11 round mag. I know putting in a pocket, belt etc is doable, for me would just make life easier so I don't have to fish around in a pocket that's a pain in the ass to access due to mag pouches covering it, or stick it in a belt and then try to navigate my dunlap to find that...... I know no answers will come from posting this, its just a curiosity thing at this point. If its not used on the COF to reload, then whats the harm? I'd venture to guess this is a "Its always been that way thing" and the effort to change it isn't worth it to the NROI?
  12. Link says no go for me.
  13. yeah i figured as much. I just hate it because its a PITA to fish my mag out of my pocket with my rig on. Don't really care one way or another.
  14. just to add to the "don't use a magnet" I emailed Troy on this as well and he said specifically that it is illegal. My question is what if you had a magnet on your shorts to hold the mag for load and make ready.......is that still considered illegal since magnets aren't allowed in prod?
  15. I figured since a gunsmith was involved all the areas were exhausted, I just wanted to mention it, sometimes a separate set of eyes helps out!
  16. I'm assuming since you know more about fitting a barrel than I ever likely will that you have mic'd the areas that are visibly very different to make sure they are the same or within tolerance comparing to the old barrel/new barrel? Also just curious is the Bar Sto ruined ruined, or you just cant get it to fit at the moment?
  17. Stick a small screwdriver down in the hole until the handle touches the basepad, pry out away from the mag body, it will pop off. No fancy tools needed
  18. Older thread but wanted to reply: I just shot my first ever match with a PCC and took 5th overall. (it was a major match which made 5th pretty cool lol) Not bad for never running a long gun in a comp...BUT I noticed I was shooting iron sight speed and not really seeing what I needed to and being way too cautious (I only had 2 D's for a 300+ round match). From my video I noticed a few things - my exits were ok, but my running was too cautious as well (I wasn't sure how the gun would behave in a flat out sprint and I didn't want to 180). The over the shoulder or beside the shoulder is way more efficient than dropping the gun down to run with it, and I was delayed in my shooting in new positions requiring the dot instead of seeing dot on target and letting rounds fly. And finally I was dot focused on some targets - an M class PCC guy helped me out - you should be target focused when shooting a dot and bring that to the target instead of sight (or dot in this case) focused. All stuff of course I need to work on, but the PCC experiment was fun as hell and I can see myself doing it more often.
  19. if you shove a thin screwdriver in the bottom of the mag to the handle then push away from you on it, it will pop it off as well. No vice, vicegrips or hammer needed.

    Accu Shadow 2

No you are right, the rules are pretty silly when it comes down to something like that.
  21. I went Mark 7 and haven’t had any issues and no regrets. Im sure the ammobot is great as well, it wouldn’t be around if it wasn’t.
  22. Man who developed that website? It looks really good! ??? Also an unbiased review of the book so far, since I am about 1/4 way through - great info and invaluable. Like Big Panda says it’s not going to GM you by reading it, but if you get off your ass and follow it, and do the work - it CAN help you get to GM.
  23. Thanks and yeah I know CZ Custom and Stuart well, he’s taken thousands of my dollars LOL
  24. Thanks, is that from CZC USA? I dont use the overtravel screws anyways so no worries there.
  25. Nice write up, what is the recurve trigger? I notice with my 3yo sized hands the trigger is a bit of a reach for me. Could you share a link to it, I’d like to check one out. Thanks!
