I agree, look at the gun until it is in your hand, I've seen many a dropped mag and several DQ's by shooters grabbing the gun while looking who knows where!

I have a C-More that has about 300,000 rounds under it, been droped from a 12' stair case, has hit the ground a half a dozen times. It's been on 2 open guns, my current open gun has been rebuilt three times. I'M sold!

When I was IPSC match director back in Colorado, We came up with a match where the SASS and IPSC shooters could compete. We called it Cowboys and G-men. IPSC shooters used double action revolvers and pump shotguns. The SASS shooters used single action revovers and pump or double barrel shotguns. Man it was a blast. Evil Roy showed us a thing or two!, Co-existance can be fun!

Dead Buff,
I think it stems from a privacy issue, not wanting big brother to know who the dv8's are that are running around with guns and lots of ammo.

RWS makes some great pellet guns, they are ample enough for the sky rats here in Vegas, My nabor is the White Feather of the the sky rats! Thats his Choice

I have sold a lot of firearms in my life and believe me there are some people out there that should not be around them, Having said that get rid of "them" and it would be pretty cool!

On my IPSC guns I have disabled the slide stop, Why? If it can lock back,it will! if it happens before its empty your stage is over! If I run dry it's still over!

The best way that I heard to game that stage, was to put the light against your leg weak hand turn it on, start with your hand on the gun. Timer goes off, start hosing strong hand.
