Scenario: I rent out a townhouse. The potential occupants are real nice, but, as usual, short on funds. They however mention that they are looking for a long term lease. So me, being nice (my thread, don't argue that point), offer them an ±11% discount on the rent if they lease for at least 3 years. Everyone is happy..... FF to 13 months later. They phone and say they are moving out by end of the month. After a lot of stress I find new ocupants...good for me... The previous occupants however have the cheek to want their deposit back! The contract was/is a 3 year contract with 3 month notice period after 3 years with a penalty clause that states the occupants have to pay the discount per month stayed in one lump sum if they move out before the 3 years are over. Because I'm such a nice guy I'm only keeping the deposit (which is less than half of the penalties) instead of claiming the penalties and the deposit. Now I am the a$$hole who is not nice to them. It's people like that, that make me hate myself for not being and arrogant slime-bag who would sue the last living cent from them....

I give formal training to a newbie the weekend before the shoot with formal coaching before and after each CoF. We however have not implemented a pass/fail scenario...

How can you be DQ'ed and continue shooting - thats the same as letting it slip....

I have had 1 DQ in my life (I still argue that it was wrongful, but I accepted it....) and it changed my view of the game completely. I think I have become a better shooter because of the DQ. It does "control" me in a way since I'm shitscared of being DQ'ed again. I am more safety conscious, more aware of what I do and of the environment. That DQ changed my shooting life and style - FOR THE GOOD. Educate new guys before hand, warn them when they are close/were close to a violation, DQ when they cross the line and ensure that guys stays/comes back to the game....

how do you arrive at that conclusion? The only ever internet/CC transaction my wife made was to order me a Christmas gift from the BE store...and see the first couple of posts in the thread. This is most probably not BE's or his merchants fault, but some other idiot who get a hold of the CC nr's off the merchants web site....IMHO

The nice thing about the rifle/SG targets is that anyone can make as many as they like by just printing them on a laser printer (ink might smudge when wet...) you can't get cheaper...

Exactly what I asked above... Find out what he shot and why the results are identical.... In anycase, IMHO, he earned a DQ or at least 0 for the classifiers....

To start this again...why an 8" round paper target if we could use the A4/A3 targets as per rifle/shotgun rules...very cheap...scores double hits.... But then again, the thread that was started on that had zero support....Thread

The unsportman like behaviour rule does come to mind, but castration and other nasty stuff do linger closer to the forefront..... I just have 1 Q, since I do not know the USPSA Lim/Lim 10 Div's....Can I shoot a Lim 10 gun in Lim? If yes, can I shoot the classifier with the Lim 10 gun and use it as classifier for both Lim and Lim 10....? I don't see a any advantage using a Lim 10 in Lim over a Lim gun.... Before you flame roast the guy - find out what happend....
