TK, how much did that gun come in weighing? I was 30 grams overweight at my first ever sanctioned match and had to think quick on how to remove weight. lol

Interested in aftermarket XD/XDM Slides?
Landeeno replied to Liebetrau88's topic in Springfield (XD)
Half the price of a new or used gun I think would be a good price point. If it gets close to the price of a new gun then I think a lot of ppl would just rather get a new gun. I'd be very interested in a new slide -
That's purdy! 4.5"?
-
I don't really understand your question? There is lots of threads on this, I have a pistol gear Magwell and run Arredondo base pads along with Dawsons...running all these on a xdm .40 4.5"
-
Haven't seen a conversion barrel yet for the 5.25 they might be out but I haven't seen them. If they do come out then you could buy a .40 and get a 9mm barrel, I know the conversion barrels are out for the 4.5" if you haven't thought about one of those. I've got a video from last week shooting the xdm 4.5" .40 cal vs .45 and the recoil is quite different. Sure my .40 is setup for limited and got a little lighter nicer bullet I was shooting but man was there a difference! Good luck

XDM HiCap Extended Basepad and Pistol Gear Magwell?
Landeeno replied to Ishoot1st's topic in Springfield (XD)
I'm using Dawson pads and arredondo pads with a pistol gear Magwell....everything works fine -
Chill?? I was simply concerned about the whereabouts of my order, and when a company doesn't email you back it seems a little shady. It came in, alls good. For all I know there Internet was being replaced and they never received my email, regardless it's fine. Ps, I love everything I ordered. And can't wait to test it all out.
-
Well guys my shipment did come in today, I did not ever recieve a reply to any of my emails but it did come in within the time they told me on the last email I received from them so I'm just relieved it's all done now. Just wanted to let everyone know that I wasn't cheated by the company or anything like that.

Alright I guess I need to take another look at the site, I thought each of the magwells I looked at were permanent
-
Sarge I wish I knew.... Maybe they were more helpful and concentrated on customer service more before they got to be so popular....
-
Apparently they have a contract with "air mail" or something like that because there was absolutely no way that I could pay more and have a quicker shipping. It was 10-14 days shipping no matter what because that was the only way they shipped!
-
Not cool!! Not cool at all! you post a pic like that and dont have them for sale yet? Come on! whens there release date? I want first dibs!

So I bought a certificate from another forum member about a month ago, I follow the instructions about emailing a lady at there headquarters, and getting everything setup. Well first they had everything ready to ship other than a springfield XDM WSM II holster, they said they were trying to locate an xdm to test the fit before my holster was sent. ODD? But ok, before I recieved that message they had already sent another email saying everything had shipped. Well a week and a half later and im still waiting..... I just sent my 3rd email asking for some sort of tracking number or anything so I could find the whereabouts of my shippment, needless to say the past two emails have been unanswered and I'm not holding my breath this one will. I couldnt be more fed up. I'm not saying they dont make a great product or anything but I would HIGHLY suggest ordering from a vendor of theres rather than direct! I didnt have a choice otherwise I would have absolutely ordered in the U.S Am I the only one to ever have this problem with them?
-
Rich what about your pads fitting with other magwells? I'm not hating on your wells but I just dont want a permanent magwell thats all. But I'm willing to try some canyon creek pads.... Its starting to look like I'm going to have a whole pile of base pads before this is all said and done....
-
Well they are in, they are installed, and they are fully loaded trying to losin the spring just a hair, the 19th round is VERY difficult to get loaded. No testing with shooting just yet but from what I can already tell. 1. Very very beefy, and seem to be made with quality, quite nice compared to the Arredondo. 2. Compared to the Arredondo these are heavy 3. They work just fine with the pistol gear unlimited Magwell To follow up on riches last post, I'd have to agree. It will hit the ejector with the slide locked back, now let's talk about that! Because I know a damaged ejector is gonna put you out of a gun for awhile cause you gotta ship it to Springfield........

Well its been a week and a day and I havnt even recieved an email saying mine were shipped

Aftermarket 5.25" XDm Competition complete upper?

No makes complete sense, Id just never seen this conversion barrel thats all. Bout to do a little searching, may be worth it to have a 9mm for a little cheaper practice. -

Have you seen the design patent? Because I can't find it online, I know there is one I'd just like to see it. I apologize if I'm making this sound like a debate, I'm just having a hard time coming to terms with there being no way to design a slide and barrel that would be a true competition setup that would work without infringing on the patent. -

Diehli, was that reply toward me? I'm hoping not, but if it was I'm gonna need you to explain what exactly you mean, because there patent on there product means nothing with what were referring to as far as an aftermarket product is concerned. -

Type in the search box (4.5" to 5.25xdm is this possible) this exact subject was discussed back in November, and almost a year later there's still no aftermarket kits -
Aftermarket 5.25" XDm Competition complete upper?
Landeeno replied to JGus's topic in Springfield (XD)
Having a hard time believing all this....why wouldn't ppl out there just be buying a barrel and slide and putting it on there 4.5" frame that's already decked out instead of buying a new 5.25? If that's true I'd buy the assembly, and no one would be discussing a company building one.... Jgus from what I've read since I made this reply it looks like you can just swap the top on the 4.5 and 5.25, and before your post I had no idea I could get me a 9mm setup with a quick swap of barrels if that's what your referring to with the storm lake? -

I haven't even held a 5.25 yet, how difficult would the swap be? -
Not if you go ahead and order grams haha
