  1. Congrats! I'm hoping for end of April/first week of May! I feel confident it will be worth the wait! Good news on your Open accomplishments!
  2. This is what's showing on their website: They are so slammed with orders; but were hoping to have mine finished in ~12 weeks. Here's hoping!
  3. Looking at the "Specifications" of a DS9 Hybrid vs the LO Comp; it's stated that they both are using the Koenig Hammer, Sear, and Disconnector. There is a lower (0.5#) trigger pull weight on the LO Comp. During my visit, I actually asked a lot of questions concerning the comparison of the two pistols as I had originally ordered the DS9 Hybrid. I also inquired about the fire control components; and was told they shared the same items; but the LO Comp was receiving a higher level of fit/finish/tuning which was contributing to the 2# (and below) trigger weight. After shooting/handling both models, I upgraded to the LO Comp as I definitely wanted the SS grip along with the DT shielded thumb safety and Nitro Fin 2 slide stop. The LO uses their latest Competition SS grip along with a custom competition magwell. For ME, the fully optioned LO Comp I shot/handled fit my hands like a glove! Using 124g match loads, the SS grip also felt better balanced and more stable vs the same loads in an aluminum grip Hybrid. I think the website doesn't really express the necessary details to accurately/fully understand the differences between the two............ HTHs!
  4. IMO, Edmond has one of the best understandings of how the P320 functions; including it's safety mechanisms! And provides very easy to understand videos of such! https://www.youtube.com/@SIGMECHANICS/videos Excellent resource!
  5. The LO Comp model has the same sight option setup as the DS9 Hybrid. There's a front sight "delete plate" that occupies the slot when customer requests Optic setup only.
  6. After visiting MPA, I feel confident you could request a swap to the Aluminum grip. They are very accommodating......
  7. Per DAA, modifications are needed for older MBFs built prior to 2018..............
  8. I'm sure your correct on the appearance due to the angle of my photo. It's also hard to actually see the poor chamber dimensions of the stock barrel with it's black finish. I do feel, based on the fit and accuracy of the KKM, it's a superior barrel compared to the stock Sig. And that also relates to "much tighter tolerances" as you pointed out!
  9. IMO, there's not any difference to speak of when comparing case support of a Match fit KKM barrel with my stock Sig P320 MAX. Here's a pic showing two of my match loads: 124g JHP @ 1.080" OAL, both in Win fully processed brass. Early on I experienced the slide not fully going into battery during some ransom rest testing. Also showed up when hand cycling the slide. Come to find out it was being caused by me using 1911 length recoil springs which were definitely shorter than the stock Sig springs. After talking with ISMI spring co and TSA, both recommended I switch back to the factory length springs. ISMI sent me some different weight springs to try; and this completely fixed my issue!! It appears the 1911 springs will work fine in the 4.7" Sigs such as the AXG Pro...... At this point I feel these FOBs are being caused directly by case failures along with improper loading practices.....or, an improperly modified pistol that's not functioning as designed.
  10. When I owned/used the RL1100 for pistol, I had also tried several of the aftermarket "stabilizers" to keep the cases stable during rotation. What worked for me was the "zip tie" method; along with a smooth, consistent operation of the press handle itself.
  11. From the User Manual: I have found, with my Pro Chrono Digital, that in certain lighting conditions I could get erroneous readings from reflections off of certain bullets. My fix was to clamp an old pillow case over the diffusers which acts like a "shade tree" directly over the top and/or sides as needed. Also, my SOP is having the center of the Chrono 10' from the muzzle of the pistol.
  12. As @shredstated, you need more powder or a lower weight recoil spring! IMO, 130pf is on the "weak" side of the 124g power curve. Grab a lower weight recoil spring calibration pack and find out what gives you correct function with ~3-4' ejection at 4:00 o'clock of your spent brass. https://www.taylor-tactical-supply.com/1911-recoil-spring-calibration-kit-p/1911-recoil-spring-calibration.htm Of course, this all depends on the extractor and ejector functioning correctly along with the pistol being clean and properly lubed.
  13. Hmmmm.......... Don't think a correctly functioning 1911 can fire out of battery................ https://rangehot.com/myth-firing-battery-et-al/
  14. Did you purchase the "Butler Cut" strictly to comply with IDPA requirements? If so, check those class requirements. Red Hill Tactical has MPA specific holsters: https://www.redhilltactical.com/19112011-Parts-and-Holsters_c_12.html Or as already mentioned, GX Products if your NOT IN A HURRY to use: https://gxproductsusa.com/gx-vice-holster/ If your planning on shooting USPSA Limited Optics, then the "open" race holsters are also an option. I chose the DAA FLEX: https://www.doublealpha.biz/us/flex-holster HTHs!
  15. @ColoradoNick With regards to the Redding Micrometer Seating Die, make sure you have completely disassembled the die and thoroughly cleaned and removed the "preservative" prior to using. Some reloaders have noted sluggish operation and inconsistent OALs due to failure to fully clean. (see attached file for disassembly) Also, removing the internal spring (above the seating stem) will result in more consistent OALs. HTHs! seaterquickstart.pdf
  16. That's a good question............probably best to ask Eric himself............. https://rangepanda.com/pages/contact
  17. Even though BSPS states this in the description: After discussing with Eric, he stated the Pro version is going to be released in a few weeks....... https://rangepanda.com/collections/dillon-1050/products/rpg2-cnc-bullet-feeder-adjustment
  18. With my current setup, I'm definitely looking for that very fine adjustment that's just not there with the shims. Ordering one this weekend to see how it does.
