Im looking for a hunter top end in 10mm so if anyone buys a hunter ill buy the top end off you or i'll buy the gun vice versa, send me a PM. Gotta find some way to get my fix without having to deal with EAA and their selective item stocking practices!

I do that. I have a hornady magnum cleaner that I use with their gun cleaning solution. I put the frame in grip upwards and let it run for a minute or 2 then do my normal cleaning of brushes and rags. The sonic gives you a big head start and loosens everything up but there is still cleaning involved on your part. The sonic cleaner is great for rifle bolts as its a bear to clean inside them but the sonic makes quick work of that.

I have one in 10mm large frame and i can confirm that it is the same as my 10mm slide on my elite match.

Ive heard that Tanfoglio throttles down the supply of guns to EAA because they don't command as high a price point as in Europe. Thus Tanfoglio sells more product over there as they can achieve a higher markup. The possible upside to this is that we may be seeing a greater variety of pistols being imported as the American market becomes more profitable. I am actively looking into being an importer as i've dealt with this smoke and mirrors B^$*S*! for several years now. I understand that these guns have been under priced for some time, namely the elite line, but the new prices are just excessive. $589 for a "super sight long slide" is just insane. Barring it being made out of billet steel with an awesome sight and high dollar finish it's not worth close to that. I've also noticed the prices for the elite match going up significantly, granted $420 a 2 years ago was too low, but neither are these $600 pistols.

I am also sending out my stock 3 for some Bokin trigger work and NP3 goodness. Just curious, why didnt you get the itnernals coated?

I didn't know that the trigger return spring was different between DA/SA and SA. That explains my failed conversion to DA/SA months ago.

My match also has a mushy safety which makes it easy to accidentially put on safe when shooting. My stock 3 on the other hand is totally positive and clicks both ways. I dont know of any aftermarket safetys available. Im currently trying to improve the factory one.

Ill have to try some of that. Lighter bullets an power pistol. How is the flash on power pistol? Blue dot is like a fire cracker.

Here is my match all done. I loaded up some 10mm with 180gr fmj on *10.4 grains* (IIRC DONT USE) of blu dot and it shoots dramatically different. Before the comp I had 20lb recoil springs in it and it felt correctly sprung at that point but ive had to come down to 18lb now and 16lb would still be ok brass is landing a little close. Oh and the shock wave thats emitted from the 2 ports is incredible. It was literally blasting the acoustic tile above me to pieces, twas bringing down the house it was With faster burning unique powder using 155gr bullets the compensator had less effect, still some help bringing the muzzle down but the heavier loads definitely felt more effected by the comp. Ill try to max load some 200gr with accurate No. 9 and see what happens. I only did a few of those before and the kick was excessive.

Here's my latest creations. First up is a stock 3 with a 6 inch hunter slide in 45 acp. Followed by a 10mm match with two port comp. If anyone has any questions I would be pleased to answer them.

I wish these parts were more available and we could buy frames and have access to the whole library of Tanfoglio parts rather than begging with the garage operation that is EAA. Anyone wouldnt happen to have an extra 6 inch slide they be willing to part with?

Dugiv, is your Stock III large framed?!? You're outside the US right? The only Stock IIIs I've heard of stateside are small framed, ergo not convert able to 10mm, 45 or 38super. Actually im in the USA, Pennsylvania to be exact. I can assure you its larged frame 10mm. I use the same mags as my witness elite match. I bought it from wholesale hunter after it was listed on their sight for only a few hours. Took 3 weeks to get to my FFL.

I am working on a stock 3 compensated along with tuning up the trigger and adding a magwell. I tried a few weeks back to get a hunter top end but they called back saying they couldn't get me the slide. I had visions of a longslide two 10mm blaster with tirjicon rmr riding the slide.

I placed an order for a hunter slide/6 inch barrel and was told it could be ordered. 3 weeks later i get a call telling my they don't sell those slides. It can get frustrating.

Im in america and i managed to get a Stock 3 from sportmans depot. Horrendous service but a good price and I really wanted it.

My stock 3 had a good trigger initially and a 9/10 trigger now. (For a double action gun). This is after approx. 250 rounds.

What a coincidence. I called them today about a 10mm slide/barrel and it sounds like there will be a wait.

Just got off the phone with the gunsmith. He can made a guiderod no problem however he doesn't have a M14x0.75 thread die, only down to a M14x0.75. He said hes looking around to see if he can get the die but if he can't he can thread it to the standard 45 auto size threads (.575X40). long story short he says he can defiantly do it as he has a lathe and tons of tooling. This is probobly the simplest project that i've given him and his quality of work is great. I went through 3 gunsmiths who did crappy work, not answer calls and generally screw it up. Later today i will be dropping off my pistol.

After much waiting on Eaa for my 6 inch barrel I too am ready to undertake this same project. (Match in 10mm with same comp.) I really don't want to ship it out and wait 2-3 months so I am exploring my options locally. I will call my gunsmith tomorrow and see what he says. Mark that guiderod looks great! Let me know how it works I may have to buy one off you!!

I got my stock 3 a few weeks ago and have finally gotten around to shooting a few hundred rounds through it. It's fantastic, my new favorite pistol! I'll try to do a write up this weekend.

Im trying (bought but not shipping) a Stock III in 10mm from sportsmans depot. I'll keep everyone up to date.

And today I was thinking "wouldn't it be great if they sold frames/slids/parts in general like they do 1911's. It would do wonders to expand the market for these guns." Meanwhile we have trouble getting parts directly from the importer and having to handhold...

Alright sounds like a plan, thanks for the info. I'll ask around to see if i can get a custom one made for the right length.
