:P :P :P It's not legal due to mag capacity, as far as I know. There are no 10-round magazines available from the OEM. I wouldn't even be able to possess my own gun on a trip to California.

I've done a few matches recently, and came up with a few items myself: 1 - ROs that bitch at you for not pasting/resetting for ONE round because you had to go take a leak, even though you are usually one of the FIRST to start resetting after every shooter. I'm gonna start pissing on stages next time I get that treatment...watch where you drop your mags! 2 - Crap steel that either won't fall when shot dead center, or falls when a gentle breeze blows through. Recent match had plate rack where two or three plates fell if you hit the RACK, not a plate. Of course, that doesn't happen when YOU shoot the stage 3 - Making stupid mistakes like forgetting a paper target you saw everyone else shoot. 4 - Running out of pasters on the stage and having to run around the range taking up a collection. 5 - Folks throwing the used paster backing strips into the squad box instead of the trash barrel found on EVERY stage. Take what you use, use what you take, and throw away the backer strip, for Pete's sake!

Got my email in for the DVDs. My wife just got me the Program book for my birthday. I love the drills in the book, and I'm in the process of creating some printable score sheets tailored to the specific drills in Excel. Just starting out myself, my wife got me Mike Seeklander's book "Your Complete Competition Handgun Training Program" I have started reading into the dry fire drills, and look forward to starting the program for real at the range. I'm also looking into the Burkett DVDs...

Andy, you were great to watch shoot. I am learning more and more every match thanks to shooters like you. For everyone's viewing pleasure, here's a video of the "Castle Keeper" with a walking tour hosted by your's truly No way a month ago I could have made a Double Alpha hit on that first target...that one target made the match for me!

I really got my ass handed to me in Production, but I had a blast. Squad 11 rules!! Some really great shooters in this match. Of course, a huge thanks for the efforts put in by all the staff. The ROs were on top of everything and made for an enjoyable yet safe environment. See you all next time! Erich

Question - Since this match is going to have an extraordinary amount of rounds per stage, will the Production guys get to load extra rounds per mag? I only have six mags, and this is sounding like I will need 8 or 10 for some of these stages if we are still limited to 10 per mag

I broke down and finally submitted my registration...this will be my fourth match ever The match fee was hard to swallow (along with hotel reservation), but I'm sure it will be worth it! I'm staying at the Green Gables in Lake Wales on Saturday night, and I'm squadded on #11 for all day Sunday. Anyone ever stay at the Green Gables before?? At least I will be well armed
