What OAL are you running on JHP?

I didn't have to do much to my Trubor, just the AFTEC. Mine will run round nose all day long but not H.P.
  4. That's exactly what I have to do with classifiers, treat it like another stage.
  5. I think I remember you were in our squad at the March OB match, Howard right? I remembered being your RO for many of the stages. Some of the stages you were only down a few points but the time is what's hurting you. And then when you tried to rush on a few stages, either FTEs and mikes were there. I would recommend you seek help from Aaron @ DVCperformance.com. He does private classes, I've heard a lot of great reviews and a really nice guy. I know he is a M in Open and I think also in Limited. During winter months, we dry fire a lot which I believe helps a lot. But you need to know how and what to dry fire. Otherwise to undo all the wrong or bad habits is just as bad. Just hang in there and you will get better.
  6. There is a slight difference in recoil between the 2. But just the fact that I don't have to worry about picking up brass and I can concentrate on the match instead makes the 9 all worth it. Plus, where can you find Super or SC brass lately?
  7. The Redding push thru die is nice but the extra step is not for me. EGW makes a undersized "U" die which I use. Also the Lee FCD will help. I don't shoot a Glock, but most of brass I get has that bulge in it(guessing its most likely from a glock).
  8. Made several loads for my CZ Target last year. The one I like the most: 124gr Ibeji Heads RN, HS6 4.2gr, FSR & 1.135. Avg about 130-133pf in the summer. Very soft recoil and accurate.
  9. Noise may be of concern from the case feeder and the press.
  10. I definitely don't like to go first. At our local matches, we rotate 1 or 2 down on each stage so its not the same person going first. I'm usually one of the ROs in our squad so I get to see what works and doesn't before my turn.
  11. May I join in for some public embarrassment also? TY66127 Open 56.8%
  12. Grams springs & followers here also. I've tried others and Grams seems to be the most reliable.
  13. STI Trojan is a great SS gun. Add a f/o sight, EGW sear & hammer and you are at around $1200. You can't beat that for the price and quality.
  14. Extra C-More batteries. Just shoot the gun first and see if it runs before buying parts. Over 10k thru my Match Master and never changed the firing pin spring, I'm on my 2nd firing pin already.
  15. I replaced the Recoil Master in both my Limited & Open guns with a standard steel guide rod. Problem with Recoil Master (especially in a open gun) is that they are only available in either light or heavy spring. With a guide rod, you have a lot of choices. Plus I really couldn't tell the difference in recoil between the two.
  16. You've basically solved all of the problems with brass bouncing off the scope mount & back into the ejection port without going to a 90 degree mount. Awesome!! I'm in if this gets into production.
  17. The Grams follower/spring helps with reliability but not the +1 base pad. Most likely your stock mags will need to be tuned.
