  1. Thanks, have the older model...might have to call S&W and see if I can get a captured one on warranty.
  2. 8-10K through my M&P Pro. I installed the Apex competition kit in the first 1K. Had a problem with the rear sight being loose (fixed with loctite) and a hardened extractor around 2K. I had problems with extraction prior to replacing the extractor. No problems in the last 6-8K through the gun and I run a pretty dirty gun most of the time.
  3. Love the M&P Pro....great feeling in the hand. +1 on easy trigger parts change. It's also gaining a pretty good following this year with new shooters. Haven't seen as many XD shooters FWIW.
  4. I replaced the Pro parts with a Apex competition kit. I'm fairly happy with it. Although the hardened extractor replacement (additional to the kit) was a PITA.

Big fan of load 2 'weak' hand. Although, I'm left handed and I shoot right handed so I suppose my 'weak' hand is my strong hand.
  6. Took about 6 weeks for my order to come in. Not a lot of communication during the wait so be patient if you order.
  7. Starting to see more and more out on the range. Oddly enough, usually see a problem at least once during the matches. Not consistent with the issues but they're usually related to loading/clearing.
  8. Whatever I got at the last match (usually Brownell's). Although, I haven't gotten a Frog Lube tester in a match bag yet (not so subtle hint there somewhere). Will be at Rockcastle Pro/Am!
  9. End cap loose on mine. Tightened and it's less noisy and jumpy (not perfect...lot of side to side play from the handle). Thanks!
  10. Hotel booked, ready to be on-site. Can we say distracted at work this week?
  11. I think you set a great example....no one's outside the rules and it can happen to everyone if they let their attention slip. Don't work to do it again but learn from it and use it as a tool to encourage newer shooters to stay focused.
  12. I don't shoot dropped ammo, ever. If I catch it (or the RO does) then it goes back in the mag. Otherwise it's dead to me. After all, you never know if you pick up someone else's ammo and they had an accidental double charge (or no charge) for just that one 'lucky' case on the ground.
  13. I second case/chamber checking. I went from a problem almost every match to no problems once I started.
  14. Welcome to the forum. It does get addictive doesn't it?
  15. Long time user of Lee Pro 1000...just got a chance to pick up a Super 1050 and I have to say I'm pretty happy after 3 hours of 'fixing' it. Solid general cleaning and it seems function well. Looks like I'm a new convert. My only issue seems to be a clunking feeling when I'm raising the handle. Something with the dies I suspect. And no, haven't searched..just mentioning it.
  16. Nice match Greg, little long (didn't plan on a 8 hour shooting day) but well worth it. Awesome to see as many new shooters as we had.
