Must ask why? In single stack major only allowed 8 rounds. If you are talking that division, limited 10 there is no box only 140 mm limit on mags.

As far as extraction should be no difference then with 1911s in 9mm. Have not had any problems with mine extracting shells. It is the only part the extractor that is in a 1911 excluding the barrel that has to be caliber specific. Have an alleged Max in 40 S&W on order let you know how it goes. Have the Springfield target in 9mm a little more the the RO or Spartan. Added a extended mag release and a two piece marinating,Maxwell. Have used it for IDPA and IPSC. Another option for you. Started with the Wilson Combat mags, but one of the ranges I shoot at is all sand, the tolerances are way too tight in them and the sand jams them up. Now go with Dawson's.

Using any type of Magwell I have found you need the extended bases for the mags, even the McCormick s.

Well now August 1 and no 40 yet anyone have any info? Very disappointed when their customer service info is wrong they at least could give some type of explanation, or at least plan on extending the promo as a way of thanking people willing to show loyalty to them.

heard from Sig that pre-ordered 1911 Maxs' in 40 S&W should be delivered by the cutoff date of their pistol promo. Nothing yet anyone hear or get theirs yet?

ok the next question how good are the apex triggers( hope this isn't repeat)

I bought a M&P 40L pro for IPSC after using and getting used to the trigger resets on a 1911 and a XD I'm finding getting used to the longer trigger pull hard. I was thinking of going to the Apex and just wondering if their shorter reset kit is worth it or just Practice with it more(LOL)?

Have been using a safariland 586 for my M&P,XD for a while, good for USPSA without spending alot
