That is often caused by burrs that get raised on the edges of the cylinder notches. When the cylinder is cycled quickly, the burr will make the cylinder stop bounce down just long enough for the notch to pass by.

You want to peen that material back down where it came from, not file it off. For the flat side, you can use a flat ended punch and hammer to carefully push the burr back down. For the ramp side, you can use the side of a 5/16 steel rod to tap the burr down. That will also tighten up the fit of the cylinder stop in the notch. This is normal maintenance on a revolver that has been shot a lot.

What's wrong with using a file?  I've never had to do it but watched a guy file his 625 cylinder at an ICORE match.

The little tab there in the red circle (bottom picture) is the part that refuses to go into the slide release hole you have in the circle (top picture).  When the slide is locked back I push tab area towards the muzzle and then all is well.  I think the side of the safety lever is rubbing against the grip module (frame).

Had to put the gun down and take the dogs for a walk to figure this out to this point.  I'm not familiar with the Sig system (dogs were happy though!).

Is it the same problem as in this thread?  https://www.sigtalk.com/threads/p320-slide-stuck-during-reassembly-without-takedown-lever.373640/

Just wondering what everyone is using for parkerizing tanks. I'm familiar with Big Jims, but I really don't need anything that large right now. Something like what is on this website (but maybe in a 24" + size with a lid) would be ideal.

Big Jim's go down to 20".

    Here's another option:  http://www.calvan.com/html/parkerizing_tank_kits.html

Is there any other game in town than a Ruger 10/22 for this game ? Was also considering a S&W AR style..
Would mainly be for the wife but I like the idea of an adjustable stock..  So it would fit us both... However for the cost I could almost buy 2 traditional wood stocked ones..

If you go the 10/22 route, here's a very common stock upgrade which is adjustable: https://www.amazon.com/Axiom-Stock-10-22-Black/dp/B00CPXUZJQ

But I understand with the current primer supply situation a guy might feel the need to adjust tension without modifying the springs and/or strain screw length.)

This ^^^.  I currently have 3 different brands of SPP on my reloading bench.

I hope I'm wrong ... but the days of "buy only Federal SPP, grind strain screw, LocTite it and forget it" may be over.

I even had to run a bit of factory ammo in my revo during a SC match last year.

  6. For various reasons, I wanted the ability to adjust the strain screw on the fly if I have to, but also have it locked. Here's a cheap solution which does not require drilling & tapping the frame and only requires a sacrificial Allen wrench and a 8-32 Allen head set screw.

Set your 8-32 Allen head strain screw and cut down the Allen wrench as shown in the pics. I also hammered the Allen wrench bend to be a bit flatter.
The attached Allen wrench prevents the strain screw from moving.  I've shot over 1,000 rounds on this quick & dirty proof of concept version and it works as designed.
I tapered the long end of the Allen wrench in case it snagged on on my Hogue grips during installation. It didn't snag.
I taped over the wrench to check for any rubbing during grip installation. Nothing moved.
I installed & removed the Hogue grip 10 times with no problems.  If I need to adjust it during a match I'll just peel off the tape, turn the screw and re-tape the Allen wrench.

  7. Probably not what you want to hear, but I had a CMMG Colt style 9mm lower that never ran consistently enough for competition.  My Hahn and Spikes 9mm AR15 Colt mag adapters ran far better than the CMMG 9mm lower.  I sent it back to CMMG but it still had fairly consistent FTF problems.

I eventually switched to a Glock style platform (JP) and all problems basically disappeared.
