i had to do the same thing with my factory mags. the front lip of the mag catches the magwell and wont let it seat properly. a few seconds on the grinding wheel and works just fine.

well i was so impressed with the pistol that i talked to brandon at SVI yesterday and ordered a SS pistol in 9mm. for IDPA ESP. took alittle back and forth about design ideas. but the final design i came up with is going to look sick. now its only a year till i get it. the gun will be silver finish with the gold aet barrel and blue accents. should look killer.

ya, those bronze infinity's are very nice you also have a great looking gun.

the finish in person is beautiful. hard to get on film without a really good camera thou and the right lighting. but its great looking in person.

Well i guess i did ok with it at the match last weekend. took 1st in Limited unclassified.

since were talking about a "bad day" at the range. i am going to throw out something that i havent seen posted. any kind of occlusive dressing. i am thinking along the lines of someone taking a round to the chest. simple kitchen plastic wrap would work perfectly. it could be a long drive to a hospital from a range. if someone took a round to the chest this would be very helpful to throw over the wound.

you can tell im use to shooting a glock. with it i could just rip it out of the holster and go to work. this was my first time shooting the gun. in a match. heck before today i had only put about 20 rounds thru it. we got a pretty good laff at the end of the day watching this video and all the times i completely forgot about the safety. but the gun shoots freaking awesome. that texas star was 22 yards away and i almost went 5 for 5 on it.

Does anyone have any info on this match? i see that it is the 1st and 2nd of October. but i dont see anywhere to sign up for it.

I agree, the trigger does need alittle work. But the gun does shoot great.

I will try to get some pics of it. The bronze doesn't come out very well with cell phone pics. But in person it one of best looking guns I've ever seen.

well decided i was tired of just looking at it in the safe. ran some winchester white box thru it. this was 20 yards NOT off a bench. needless to say...it shoots awesome.

lol, when i got the SVI in the wife was like "how much was that one" i told her, it was on sale for $150.00

i was in my room getting ready to go to class at college. then my brother ran into my room and got me. he was like " you have tocome watch the television, a plane just flew into a building" at that time only one plane had hit. then we watched the second one hit live on tv. then every channel on the televison went crazy.

i havent tried the wilson in 9mm. i have them in 45 and they are great. on the other hand, i have tripps and 9mm and they are fantastic. but i havent tried the wilsons in 9mm. lol

i have also been informed of this rule during a match. i wasnt told they would move me to open, just that i needed to place it in the back pocket. to be honest its really not a big deal. its not like your doing it under time. just throw it in your back pocket in a few weeks it will be like thats where it always was. do i think the rul is silly......YES. but what is my other option, move to open. no thanks.

i got the pistol at the begining of august. it looks great. i havent shot it yet because i dont reload my own ammo yet so im still in the process of getting all the stuff set up. so for now it just sits in the safe un-fired.

I have a set of VZ operators on my trophy match and a set of alumagrips on my trojan. both are awesome.
