Went to the Illinois Regional Match today at pasa. was a great time. i shot the lightning and thunder classifier today. I shot almost 71% so thats a solid B. but getting close to an A. here is a vid with my hat cam.

On my 4th time shooting in limited class I Made C class at the classifier we had last weekend. just saw when uspsa updated today. I am pretty happy. i started this sport at the end of Feb. when i started my average % was in the low 20's. now im in the 40's with some in the 50's. i also started out in production, and shot that for the majority of the year, till i got my limited gun in august. now to start all over again in open division!!!

i just got a contour. i havent bought the video editing software yet. im going to go with adobe element 8 or 9. so for now i just upload the single stage videos.

thanks guys, i knowm im going to have alot to learn. but since i started shooting this is the class i have been wanting to be in.i said i would give myself a year of shooting to make sure i wanted to stick with it before i went into open division.

should be a good time, will be my first time shooting at pasa.

the rig i use now is a cr speed belt,versapouch and wsmII on my limited gun. i would imagine i can adjust the holster around to fit the open gun. thanks for the advice guys, it has been great.

I have been shooting uspsa and idpa for a year now. mainly Esp and Limited class. but the entire year i have been shooting all i can think about is open division. well after talking with Shay from Akai and describing the gun i wanted. he actually had it in stock. no waiting for it to get built at all. So I told him i would take it and sent my money order off today. So it looks like my journey to the darkside has begun. I am very excited and cant wait to get my pistol. So what tips would you give to yourself if you were just starting out in open and knew what you know now? thanks

agreed, i emailed him over the weekend. he called me today and we talked about what i wanted. after i told him what i was looking for he said he had one already put together and in the color i wanted. so its already finished im sending the money order to him tomorrow
