  1. Done. All seven stages shot today. WW side match Sunday morning.
  2. Is this the one you bought? The MGM Switchview™ lever for Leupold VX-3 will also fit the Mueller APV 4.5-14 x 40mm Adjustable Objective APV Reticle scope. It needs .225" of clearance between the scope body and the nearest object for proper operation. MGM Switchview for Mueller APV and Leupold VX3
  3. I just picked up a Leupold VX-6 and want a cat tail for it. Does anyone know if the MGM Switchview for the VX-3 will work?
  4. Very well stated. How in the world is it disrespectful to give a D class shooter a nice prize? Run a Level 2 or Area match for just GM's and M's, see how that works out? Hell of alot more C and D class shooters around. I would also think if you win a Level 2 or Area match you should be moved up in class, could help with the sandbagging.
  5. To award what, the best mediocre shooter? The best sandbagger? The shooter that shoots for fun but cant, or wont, put in the time, effort or money to reach GM? Sure, keep classes so people can see how they're doing against other people of roughly the same skill level, but to award prizes (except maybe some cheap plaques) is kinda silly IMHO. Even though we shoot to have fun (right?), its a competition and thus the best shooters should be awarded. If you're shooting for fun then maybe you shouldnt expect to get a good prize? Yeah, Im sure there are plenty of people that have excuses to why they can't become GMs, but in my world that doesnt justify giving them prizes... The class system is so you can see how you're improving over time, or to give you a chance of a somewhat reasonable way of comparing skill, it shouldnt be used to distribute prizes since it awards mediocrity and sand bagging Prizes of any decent value in overall order of finish. my 2c... I get your point, but some shooters no matter how much time or money they put into it will ever become a GM. So? Reward the winners. Yes! The winner in class, not just the GM's and M's. A D class shooter is paying the same fee to shoot the match.

  7. Top prize should go to the biggest class winner weather it's GM or D class. If Production has 3 GM, 5 M, 10 A, 20 B and 30 C, then C class should have the biggest prize. Most shooters. 3 GM's will never keep a match afloat.
  8. I shoot the York 3man 3gun matches and the monthly match. I run a LM choke most of the time. I it use for slugs and clays. I also have a Mod and Full. For the drink bottles I run the Full. Last time Howard and the guys added some distance to that stage. Slugs, I prefer Wolf as for shot, mainly 7.5 but keep 8's and also a couple boxes of 6's. Did you shoot the shotgun / pistol match this past Sunday at York?
  9. Hey! I made it in the end of the video. It was nice meeting and shooting with Team Cupcake and Team Hoser. See you guys in July
  10. At what distance? 25yds? Thanks. If it's like the monthly matches 10-20 yds
  11. M&P 40 with 9mm barrel = no problem. and 9mm mags of course.
  12. Double check the date. The form I got at the sidematch says Oct 6th and 7th.
  13. I use a 13 with 147's at 130 PF and like the feel. I do as well. Same here.
  14. Yes! My two best stages of the match. I saw your score... great shooting!
  15. I think there's six ways to shoot it. 1. Pistol with irons 2. Pistol with optics 3. Rifle with irons 4. Rifle with optics 5. Team Match one rifle one pistol irons 6. Team Match one rifle one pistol open = optics. 70 targets with a par time.
  16. I still run the stock trigger but dad installed a JP in his with no problems.
  17. I just added the MGM Switchview to my MTAC. I think it's the seventh one down on the list. http://www.cpwsa.com/mgm_switchview.htm
