+1 Maybe at our end of the year match in a few months Fun fun! Outerlimits, what was the mechanism that started them spinning? Yeah, the door, but was there weight on the stars? we activate our stars with pull sticks, in this case attached to the door. we also hang an 8" plate over the top and behind one of the plates on the star. higher up for faster take off, lower for slower rotation-they drop free as soon as the star starts.

kurt-yer idea reminds me of the old "snapping in" dayz in usmc, circa 1970. did it for 7 dayz straight b4 we got to even chamber a round. amazing what the body does in those weird positions. now, getting into the same some 37 years later is another story...

jim-i've shot 5 3gun/multigun nationals. one bit of advice (ok, maybe two). one-have a blast-3 gun is the greatest. two-work on long range rifle, transitions betweens guns, and of course, LOADING YOUR SHOTGUN. and give mactiger an earfull

nhra.com now has a 3rd video from the side of the lights where you can clearly see the car's left rear start to come apart before the chutes are close to being partially deplyed; so that this was falling apart without the g's from the chute.
