so i go check my zero for a 3gun match we had yesterday. head to the range, shoot sub MOA at 200 yds, check the bdc for 300, perfect.
go to the match, shoot 2 short range rifles stages of about 50 rds total. head to the long range stage and proceed to not hit anything...even had trouble with 90 yds flashers, let alone the 220 & 350+ ones. i can't figure it out while i'm shooting...i'm seeing rounds hitting a foot low ant 90 or so, and some wildly lateral at 200+. i give up, waste all my good rifle ammo and walk meekly off the line. checked my scope in a larue, tight as cement. now i'm lost. then...i notice my comp has unscrewed itself many turns, actually it's only on about 1/2 the threads!
lesson learned-i'll get to the loc-tite tonight, but i can't believe that little thing cause rounds to stray that far off!
