we're talking mutigun match here. if you have a choice, what is your preference in shooting a rifle stage? i know alot of you like a mix, but if you get one stage, which would it be that you want to shoot?

after i saw angus do this on the dvd, i tried it with my airsoft one day. ended up breaking the feed lips on the damn mag!

i don't mind an occasional house clearing stage with a long gun, but i'd much rather be reaching out and banging flashers beyond 200. from a practical standpoint, you wouldn't likely go into a house clearing with a rifle anyway, just as you would use a pistol on a larue at 200. that is rifle shooting.

numbers here are indisputable. wasn't able to capture all, but here's a representative view. i will say alot of complaints for the past two MG nationals were the stages. i didn't shoot those, but albany, vegas & reno in the prior 3 years had great stages. 3g.pdf

in order to spread resources so uspsa can actually handle a quality 3 gun match, i'm afraid they will need to re-examine a single pistol nationals once again-"run what ya' brung".

when we were kids, we used to like drag racing. got this idea to make a parachute for our bikes. used old sheets and kite string. worked once or twice, but the sheet would either tear or the twine would bust. so, we figure we need to beef things up. we find an old 10 x 10 tarp with grommets (perfect) and decide we need some serious rope. so, the new fangled parachute is ready to try. my buddy test drives it first. i'm on the other end of the street watching from the top end. he's flying down the street as fast as he ca go on his 10-speed. looks up and chucks the folded up parachute behind him. it opens unceremoniously and for some reason moves to his right, grabbing on to the front of a parked car. bike stopped immediately, buddy didn't. i can still see the funny look on his face, but there were lots of stitches in the aftermath.

i've shot four 3gun nationals and agree that they are treated as step-children. i just don't understand especially since the el prez is mr 3gun. the home office rarely puts an effort into the 3gun nats-witness reno in 2004. here we are discussing it and the results aren't even on the web yet. not even interim results from friday, sat. i like going to national matches, but these are getting to be like large area matches. dunno what to do about it, cause i doubt it will change. outlaw matches will likely continue to be the draw.

no results on the uspsa page-they never did take 3gun seriously, despite the prez.

2004 3gun nationals in reno...really sick shooting position. pistol, then rifle-flashers out to maybe 200. BUT, there was a low wall with side walls. the shooting ports were on each end, maybe 6" wide and 12" high, flat prone. and you had to use both ports. even if you had practiced weak hand, the problem was the side walls-no way you could get into a normal position.

he's been shooting 9x21 in an open gun for years, so i assume it has to do with all the cases he has and his familiarity with loading it. for carry, i still like my .45 colt commander...

buddy of mine wants to change his carry gun from 9mm to 9x21. is it just a matter of reaming the chamber a bit deeper?

mind control-our company forces the intranet to pop up every time u turn on a computer so they can pimp themselves. they also control what u get in terms of desktop, apps, etc (thanx bill gates). thankfully i have the IT guyz so i have that taken care of for me.

yea-loved mountain-lst time i saw them was 1973 in long beach...miss pappalardi, though.

wife gives me ducats for a classic concert. won't need hearing protection for the match that weekend!
