i remember using those at the first club i shot at in 1984. shoot the disc on the pendulum, it swang back and carried with it an arm that would stop at the apex and that would tell you if you made major. when we started shooting 38 super with 160 gr lead, it hardly moved the thing. thank god for chronographs.

ok, looking for theories as to why some barrels like certain bullets, while others don't. personally, i've had 4 AR barrels over time. the last two were JP 18", same contour. on the first, it loved 77's. on my newest one, it can't hold a group with anything above 69's. both loved 55 NBT's. go figure. IAC, im curious what theories there might be as to the variances.

Over a year ago when primers became a collectors item, a shooting bud asks if I have any he can borrow till he gets his order. Since I was sitting on many sleeves, I loaned him 2k. Got 1k back about 6 mos ago. But every time I see the guy, which ain't often, he forgets to bring them. Been in this game over 25 years and have met a great group of folks, but I can tell you I'll be much more careful now. No more mr nice guy...

Rifle barrels are the classic "YMMV". If your gun likes 52's, shoot 'em. There are advantages and disadvantages to both light and heavy bullets, depends on what the course asks for and the conditions.

I could care less about what he did to his wife. I don't even like golf. But he's an egotistic punk. Watching him shank that 8 iron, then go into "tiger you suck", and then a few choice words was priceless. This guy doesn't say or do anything without his publicist oking it or some Nike hack giving approval. No respect for the game still. There are so many great golfers that are actually polite, class acts that are worthy of people's admiration.
