  1. I think the guy in the photo might have read book called Green eyes and black rifles.
  2. I just uninstalled the lastest upgrade on my android table, because I hated it too.
  3. Hmm, unless I missed something or been in a coma, NJ is still 15 rounds. But, welcome, see you on the range.
  4. Nik, You are low on Freon. My best guess is the repairman will add some and it will work fine for one or two years, then the same thing all over. Good luck
  5. Once I had a young shooter ask mid stage if she could stop. I replyed. If you are finished unload and show clear. She proceeded shooting the stage. Later I saw her giving me the evil eye while telling her Dad, that her hearing protection didn't work and now her ears were ringing. I told her if I had known, I would have stopped her. So, what if I stop myself and tell the RO my ear plugs are not working correctly? Maybe I just thought it was in all the way and I'm the first shooter of the day. Reshoot or not? What if it's later like the third stage?
  6. I wonder what holds the anvil in the primer?
  7. I remember there was talk about some 30 round mags holding 31 or 32 rounds and then the next thing I knew all restrictions were off.
  8. I agree, Shooters connection is where I got my last two holsters. Left handed STI and Springfield XD.
  9. He needs to cut out the other middlemen.
  10. I was taught to put my weak hand on my belly while my strong hand grabs and lifts the gun from the holster. The weak hand then joins the strong hand on the gun after it is pointed down range. Thus keeping you from sweeping yourself. Now, if you take the word belly out and replace it with waist, add a bunch of stuff about left hand, right hand mix in a little new guy confusion, and you have someone putting their hand in the wrong spot and a DQ. Doxa, you now have some real world experience, fortunately you learned that lesson without great harm. Learn from it and move on. Some of the other stuff you wrote about, will help any new 3 gunner, thank you. George
  11. Sometimes the metal tab that pushes the micro switch gets caught on the drop tube.
  12. I have been doing this since this girl was a toddler, and I wish I was that good.
  13. I picked one of these used. If it is in good shape, what is it worth? George
  14. You know, I've seen people just use their finger instead of a mag. Saves all that questioning about loaded or unloaded stuff.
  15. I would think your Chief is looking for stuff like, no cursing be polite and helpful. Answer "law enforcement" question in a respectful manner. Don't bring disrespect on the department by argueing doubles that are not there. Just like a sponsered shooter.
  16. Chronograph, because it's good to know if your doing it right.
  17. Howard, The link does not seem to work for me. George
  18. Whew, looks like those wacky Mayans did't get it quite right. I did notice that my Dillion calander ends on December 31st 2012. That must be when the world ends.
  19. I just heard on the radio that the Mayan calender ends at 11:11am, but not sure if it was ajusted for time zones. I'm going to party next 12 hours away by taking a nap. see you on the other side George
  20. Oh, I also learned that when the rounds go off, the cases burst with enought energy to send shrapnel through your heavy blue jeans and completely under your skin. George
  21. This is what I learned in a grass fire at the range. Do not throw your duds on the berm. Over the course of years it really accumilates. Then when some knucklehead like me, uses some gunshow reloads and does not realize they are tracers and starts a fire all hell breaks out. George
  22. Sorry, I just checked and I have version 3. Good Luck George
  23. Very nice Nik, now remember to bring your camera to the next Old Bridge match so you can photo my awesomeness.
  24. Sorry, I sometimes get my days mixed up, Saturday shoot off is what I thinking of.
