  1. Hello! Some people know how it's possible to make a trigger stop for a MIM trigger ? Thanks
  2. LPA rear sight, SDM front sight, extended open Hogue, bobbed hammer, Nill Griffe grips > WOW !
  3. Exactly, I have long finers and I have a better reach of the trigger with closed backstrap. I tested it with the original S&W rubber grips by Uncle's Mike that I found in the box with my 686 SSR, but this one is with finger grooves and for the speed changes isn't good. And I prefer wood, but the orginal one is with open backstrap, small for my hand.
  4. Thanks Bubber I'm really thinking of taking them, this model here costs 99 € I've seen a better position on the trigger with the closed backstrap
  5. Hi guys Last summer at the Idpa European Cup here in Italy, I met Jerry Biggs, master SSR. Before I knew Jerry I had seen his videos on you tube. He recommended Nill Griffe SW035 for 686, told me that feels very good. But i never had the possibility to try it beacause he shoot the Cup in CDP. Living close to Germany, I can find them at an attractive price, what do you think ? The model is this with closed backstrap and without finger grooves and thumb rest: Thanks Here Jerry play with Nill Griffe grips:
  6. You can use your CCI primers only for single action shooting
  7. If it's the typical interchangeable front sight, like the last series of 625 or the 686 SSR, is not necessary pouch out the pin. Take the front sight and pull towards to you. It's handly fast replace system > NO tools required. If you have a classic pinned front you must use a simple punch which is located in shops of mechanical tools, her in Italy I pay for one 0,70 cent of euro ( 1,4 mm. is perfect ) very cheap way
  8. For me the only sure way is try, try and try.. all whellgun are different little tollerances, power of mainspring, firing pin, tipe of primers, endshake, size of the strain screw, tipe of hammer, and other much things matters When you found the exactly regulation that you can shoot 300 rounds in DA with the minimun mainspring power as possible and no light strike you are OK
  9. Buongiorno and buonasera !
  10. That's ok, yesterday i receive the new SEAR from Midway and installed. And test it from the range, OK shoot good !
  11. I understand. If you want an extended firing pin for "hammer mounted" style the only way is made one by a good gunsmith. Here in Italy ther's one in Reggio Emilina that can make it. But i know you live in USA.
  12. Bobbing the hammer, install a LPA front fiber optic sight and rear sight, remove front locking bolt and did more chamfering the holes Hi from italy
  13. Try with a little bit of Ballistol oil
  14. When I have it, can I lightly polish the trigger contact surface ?
  15. Hello ! I would one replacement hammer sear for my 686, but on Midway it exists only one sear (everytime). I do not see wrote 686. For you it's all right? A friend told me that it's okay Thanks
  16. Here in Italy the official importer is the gun shop " Bersaglio Mobile " in Reggio Emilia. I have here the catalogue, says > on request we can order all the models of the Nill Griffe linea. Unfortunately here I found only the address and telephone number, but as soon as possibile I call the shop for you and wonder if the have a @mail. I believe that with payment by credit card you can arrange international shipping, with a little bit of patience. I write you just know something
  17. The 0,002 inch, for my young experience is the most popular endshake > take the 0,002 power custom shim and try with one piece. Another time a double message. Someone can delete that ? thanks

  19. Exatly, with the side plate off. The rear sight and the front sight is from LPA sight ITALY, I take it in the factory at Gardone Val Trompia, one hour from my home. I think was the best aftermarket sight for S&W revolvers, really functional e looks good. Yesterday I repeat the blue treatment, and now is better. I attach some pics and the scan of one page 2011 LPA catalogue with the S&W sights >
