  1. Phil sees everything!

  2. #1 Rifles that are ATAS and that are good for defending the homies look kewl. #2 ATAS rifles are short and light weight for clearing rooms, stowing in your trunk, shooting with your body armor on. #3 ATAS rifles are slower and have more recoil. 3 gun rifles are heavier, longer, faster and easier for the soft competition guys to shoot because there big compemsators and lightened bolts eliminate all the recoil.
  3. In the past, birdshot, shoot a wood slat(about 1/4"x1 1/2")suprising how many mess up ,even though it's close yuo do need to aim, sorta it worked good before so we'll see WTF? I saw that you had 3 doors that needed breaching and I decided this match was definately ATAS. So I sent in my app this morning and dusted off my trusty breacher choke. I have been practicing blowing locks and hinges around my double wide all afternoon. Got it down to .35 from low ready on the lock and .98 on both hinges and the lock. Now you tell me I just have to shoot a stick? You guys owe me 10 new doors. Mrs. ATAS is gonna be pissed so I'm given her y'alls number.
  4. They really need to make the rolling thunder in black. Stainless is not very ATAS. I almost had to order an SJC.
  5. I didn't know there was a 6x! I don't have any more room. Maybe I can get a 26" barrel and weld another Troy cheese grater on the end of the current one and slap the 6x on back! Imagine the options that would give me? I'm more than a little turned on by XXXXXX:)
  6. Can you choose an infinite number of positions or are you limited to preset holes?
  7. I voted other because I run an eotech up on my handguard with a 2x, 3x, & 4x magnifiers in series all on LaRue flip mounts on top with Troy BUIS just in case. This way I can go 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x, & 11x for less $ than one of those high $ variable power scopes. I also have a set if Barry Duecks offset irons on the rights side and a JP close range iron site in the left side. The offset irons are zeroed at 5 yards and 25 yards so I don't have any hold over or offset to consider on head shots at CQB distances.
  8. I wanted to check the Saiga for every division because they are awesome but it wouldn't let me so I went with Benelli's across the board.
  9. I agree however, finances limit me to making every purchase count haha. I posted the thread with the intention of hearing opinions for multi-purpose/survival battle rifles (assault rifles too I guess, I just like .308 haha). The zombies are for fun You never know what to expect in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. If money is tight get a decent AR15 for now and go out and shoot that 3 gun stuff. 3 gun nation is handing out $5k & $25k checks like candy at these matches. With your Rudy Project awesomeness and youth you could easily beat all of those old farts on the show. I plan to take a few BIG checks home myself next season. ATAS Jr. needs a new pair of shoes! p.s. A little tip for your 3 gun nation domination. Grow a handlebar mustache if you can. I think that is that Kelley guy's secret weapon. I figured it out a few episodes ago when that Kurt guy had one too. If you can't grow the full handle get just a little hitler one going. That Jerry guy had one and even though he got smoked in the shootoffs I think it helps him. Oh yeah Voight,Piatt and a bunch of the FNH shoots have 'em too.
  10. Now this is the kind of topic I can relate to. My only problem is why must you limit me to only one weapon? I choose .223 and AR10 because unlike some guys that need stopping power and can't make their rifles run I can shoot my .223 into 1" at 500 so who needs power with that kind of accuracy and my AR10 has never had a malfunction because I know how to "Smith It". If I had it my way I would start with my colapsible baton, taser, and pepper spray on my belt. I'd have my diving knife on my leg and a benchmade in each pocket. I would then strap a pair of G18C's with the 33rd big sticks in my shoulder holsters. Next I'd take my AR10 and strap it on my back for real long range work with one of my nightforce scopes on it. Then I'd grab a 14" piston driven AR15 with a colapsoble stock and a 1-8x on top for the mid range work. Dishes are done! In case your wondering I'm not worried about the weight. I workout a lot. I look like Erik Lund on 'roids. Plus Mrs. ATAS can carry ammo or she can become a zombie and suffer my wrath like the rest if them.
  11. You would catch me putting that cone shaped mass anywhere near my butt...stock. If you want your stock to be ATAS the lighter the better and fully collapsible or folding is required. If you gotta get heavier you could look at that Magpul sniper block looking stock that those ATAS Noveske shooting team guys use.
  12. ATAS

    Airsoft

I have two of the models that Manny Bragg sells. I have about 500 rounds through each. So far do good.
  13. Holy crap batman! Thanks for telling the world about what was almost certainly my new ARah. Some dik outbid me while I was taking a Bryan 45 and I missed it. Now I will have to settle for one of these little kitties:) http://www.thegunzone.com/gaudy-ar15.html
  14. So you guys are changing grips and mags for out of state matches? That definately isnt ATAS!!! How the heck does a guy like Taran Butler get so fast? He definitely isn't hitting the gym to get faster. I feel so bad for you guys I am going to hold off on the homosexual joke I had planned to follow up with.
  15. What exactly does a Cali legal rifle? Is it rainbow colored or something?
  16. Let me just start out by saying I think every good rifle should have a light and maybe a laser. You can't be ATAS without one! I don't have a problem with you using your light if I can use my NVG's. I'll even leave them on the entire match.
  17. Ha! You trying to get me fired up there mr mustache funny man? Maybe someday at a match I'll show you how to respect your elders!
  18. You can order them directly from Nordic. I think they are made by ISMI.
  19. Oh we got a funny guy here huh? Whats funny is that nobody but triple A players would call that a baseball team.
  20. Why? That's kinda like asking the question, why should I sleep with these twins?
  21. I haven't shot any 3 gun yet but I'm really looking forward to it so I can dominate that 3 gun nation show. I'm more into the tactical scene. But I have shot a bunch of rifles with adjustable gas blocks and lightened bolts. They shoot softer and faster. Good review. That 3G whatever looks to be a pretty good out of the box rifle for this 3 gun game.
  22. Glocks are awesome! I love all of my full auto glock pistols. Especially the ones with the Suppressors and the 53 round custom mags. These 22 round mags would be sweet if you could duck tape two of them together and get a longer spring or something. Glock isnt worried about competitive shooters needs despite having that trigger pulling freak Sevigny on their team. Glock is worried about being ATAS!
  23. Is there a division where I need to use my awesome Glock 21 w/Veridian laser/light combo attached and my glock knife in my boot?
  24. The shooting like any and all shooting looks like fun but I gotta wait a few more years to make the age requirements;)
  25. Great idea bro! If you ever need anyone to write some tips or give gear advice I'd be happy to help you out. I'm one of the best 3 gunners in the world. If you don't believe me, just ask me;)
