I suspect that I am not alone in my request for some full size paper this year. Pretty please.
-
Thanks Vlad. I have two of them in my cart. But the springs are BO.
-
Anyone know who has the Benelli extractor and spring in stock? I have had the spring on BO for weeks now.
BTW, I fondled my first M3K today and was quite pleased with the loading port and parts on it. I think its a great bang for the buck. But I am also quite fond of the MOA part on my own M3000.

Pat and his Stoeger are solid shooters. Nice vid Jesse. Thanks for sharing.

Can anyone recommend a maintenance procedure for the M3000? I have a little over 1200 rounds through mine and haven't done much more than general lubing of the action bars and mag tube. After running a gas gun for years, I am amazing at how clean the inertia gun is. The M3K has been great.

I just registered for this match. It will be my first BRM3G. I did shoot TFD last year and loved it. So I have an idea what to expect here. Looking forward to it.

That is very slick Pat. I'm liken' the receiver mods being anodized. Its a really nice package. I have been tickled with the MOA parts I have purchased. I've been a machinist for over 20 years and am a currently shop foreman. I'm can be VERY picky and I can honestly say that the workmanship in the MOA parts I have received is top notch.

A jogging stroller would work well. I'll be surprised if they allow motorized carts on the road that spans the majority of the bays. However, I am in no way associated with the staff at the 3GN match in Hoover and likely don't know what I am talking about. I have just shot there many times.
-
You will definitely want a cart for the Hoover So Regional. There might be one stage to drive to, but the rest will be cart worthy.

I have had some upgraded bearing plates made and they are for sale on Ebay. I cannot guarantee that these will fix all of your primer issues, but it will help smooth out the primer bar operation if you are having issues with that. I have one of these plates installed in my 550, but my 550 is new and I really hadn't began having trouble. Search "550 bearing plate" on Ebay if you are interested.

Loading port looks nice. Thanks for the photos Jesse.
-
Agreed. I was thinking the same thing. Is it going to come with a extended tube and any release date yet?
Jesse's post says it will come with a rebate or certificate for a mag tube. My guess is that it can't be imported with a extended tube.

Holly crap Oskino, that is extreme.

I have 950 rounds through my 24" Stoeger. I've had one FTE on a 1200fps Remy slug and another on a Fed 3dram. I have shot mostly Fed bulk 3 dram, some Estate 3 dram and Remy 1200fps slugs. There was a period that I was getting a few FTE's but it was because I added a weight in the buttstock while trying to shoot 3 dram shells. When I removed the weight, the issue went away(no fault of the gun). I'm still very happy with my M3K.
-
Very sad to hear about TFD. It was my favorite match this year.
-
I just feel like I shoot the Stoeger better. I think it has a little bit to do with the narrow vent rib. I also like the lighter weight. I originally bought the Stoeger as an economical back up gun to the VM.893 rounds through the M3K as of today. I took a chance with some Estate 3dram shells at todays 3-gun match and they went through the gun just like the Federals. I'm about ready to sell my VM and get a second Stoeger. I'm still super pleased with it.
Do you have issues with the VM?

Thanks Will. But actually it could be said that I was only awesome twice per day.

I braved the wooded trails in shorts and painted steel twice each day on Pro 8. I can't imagine telling a squad "no, you can't paint the steel". BTW, a big thanks to the fella that left us RO'S each a beer on Fri. That was the best beer ever after the last shooter. I consumed it on the way to painting the steel.

I really enjoyed the Pro match. I liked the stages and the options allowing the shooter to make some choices. I worked Pro 8 in cowboy town and I really enjoyed watching the Pros do some ridiculous runs on stage 8.
I thought the prize table was pretty good. I finished 77th and still walked away with a CMC trigger, Oakley's and $100 Falcon Ind gc. I also heard reports of there still being AR lowers on the Pro prize table around 200th place.
BIG THANKS to the numerous sponsors, especially Brownells. Another BIG THANKS to Gary W, Joe H, John H, Ken Nelson, Linda, Nick, Nat, Jim. What a tremendous undertaking.

Sorry to hear this. It does make sense that removing material on the left side of the locking block doesn't leave much material between the forward and rearward part of the slide. It seems to me that area is already the weakest part of the slide due to the ejection port.

Folks, I don't know you guys in person and would like to put faces to these handles. We should plan to meet at the lodge Thursday evening and come up with some sort of signal so we know we're all on this thread OR Dillen (EaZeNuTZ33) can bring a sign that reads "Free Beverage for Brian Enos's Forum Members" Any ideas?
I like this idea kc9.
