Mine isn't as bad as Mattogs. I agree that the tube and threads on the Remington tube are really weak. I'm running the clamp for the time being and hope to get one of the new one piece tubes once they are available. co-exprs - yours looks awesome!

I took the clamp off of mine to compare. Mine isn't perfectly straight but nothing like yours. Maybe send that pic to nordic and get their opinion.

Guys, I'll be installing my Nordic extension this weekend on my Versa Max 26". I'm trying to figure out how to get the plastic plug out so that I can remove the stock spring, follower, and grind down the dimples, etc. Just not sure if there is an easier way then just breaking the piece and sliding it out. Thanks in advance for the help.

I run a +6 on my 26" VM and its about a half inch from the end of the barrel.

Remington sells aftermarket vent rib barrels, you can get them from just about everybody for ~$200. Don't know about 22" specifically, but they make 21" and 23" turkey barrels that will work for you. These are already threaded for chokes.

The difference is either rifle length or mid-length gas system. The 18" and 20" are rifle length gas, while 16" is mid-length gas system. Rifle length is much less felt recoil however people run both.

Has anyone got the scoring yet? Usually we get it the night of. Just want to make sure its not just me who didn't get it.

On birdshot it should run a majority of the loads that are 1200fps or faster. I've been running the federal #8 1 1/8 oz loads bulk packs for the past year with the spring and gas ports stock. These loads are easy to handle as well.

If you are taking a list I'd like to be on that as well.

Guys, Curious what followers Versa Max owners are running. Want to ditch the plastic, was looking at the NC low drag. Any issues?

Maybe try a vice grip. Mine wasn't in there very tight. Came out rather easy.

I had a good time at the match as well. Our squad didn't get to finish either but it didn't matter, it was a good challenge for everyone. Thanks for hosting the match. Another vote for more of these in the future.

Also part of the problem is at a quick look a lot of people assume they are Benelli M1's until they take that closer look. I get that often. I too have seen some frustrated Mossberg JM owners. Then when you tell them CZ, they say they didn't even know CZ made a tactical shotgun. C'mom CZ, step it up.
