Guys, I've never owned the +1. Looks like on Nordic's site that the +1 is only two parts, the tube and integrated cap, and the extension nut. Most Nordic extensions break down to an extension nut, the actual tube, and the standard end cap. Looks like you have no option other than #2. Can anyone out there with a +1 confirm this?

You have two options: 1. Extension flush with barrel: Swap your current standard end cap from a standard to the XL end cap which is 3/4" long. On the tactical version, take off the clamp first. Then unscrew the extension (careful it's spring loaded), remove the forend, remove the barrel.

It may require someone else to chime in but Nordic makes the mag extensions that ship new with the VM tacticals. Nordic also sells just the extension nut but I'm not sure if the threads are different or not. Anyone? Is it the nut on the extension tube that you are looking to replace?

I have both the 2 rounder and I believe 8 rounder side saddle with the same problem. I left shells in both between matches and nothing helped. I'm curious to see what others did to loosen them up as well. Right now they sit on a shelf.

I just got mine today (8 +3). I'm going to do away with the +3 and put a +2 on. With the +3 its a bit too long.

Yeah the +7 would stick past the barrel by an inch or so. I have the +6 with the XL cap right now but I just bought Mark's 11 round tube. I'll be selling the +6 soon but I borrowed the XL cap so I'll have to give that back.

You'll have to get a Nordic +6 and replace the standard cap on the end with a Nordic XL cap.

There's a little plastic tab between the lifter and trigger group. You have to push that in then the bolt will lock back. Are you saying you do that and the bolt will still not lock back?

Yep, I load weakhand, fingers don't get hung up anymore. Think the only thing left is taking a little more material off the front of the loading port on each side. My thumb just barely catches.

I'm going to file the forend on my versamax next to the loading port this weekend to help with loading. Anyone got some pics they can share so I can get an idea of what to take off and at what angle? Thanks in advance.

CPWSA is out of them at the moment. I borrowed one off of a friend for the time being. Called Nordic. They said they will be in stock in the coming weeks but didn't have an accurate ETA. Nordic is apparently making another batch though as we speak.
