  1. I placed my order last night for a new CR Speed belt blade tech holster and 6 773's. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do about mags
  2. Ok I don't have that much room but would rather carry 6 mags as I do in production. Safariland ELS belt 1.75 is what I'm looking at for my SS rig. Is the ordering the same as CR. I ordered a 35 CR and it has 9 inches of overlap on the outer and inner belt. Thinking of ordering a 34 in Safariland or should I go 36? Pouches I looked at the CR Double, but wonder if they have the flexibility to wrap around or should I just go with the Safariland 771's? On my production rig my Ready Tacs go from my pant seam to the small of my pack with 6 mags, and I have no problem reaching them. Holster I'm pretty much settled on with the bladetech with the stingray mount. Just looking at options, and plan on ordering one day this week.
  3. Well I picked up the STI this week, and it shoots pretty well. Ive already put a S&A Magwell until I decide what I want.
  4. I have loaded tons of lead for 38spl but not 9mm. I have someone local that sells magna bullets at a descent price and I'm thinking about giving them a shot. I shoot a M&P and my current powder is Win231. Any suggestions would be great. I searched and found info on moly, but checking to see if plain lead is different.
  5. I'm going to go back by, and if it's still there the STI will come home with me. Thanks
  6. Plan on adding a magwell but that would go with either one. Hadn't given the rear sight much thought. Made in the USA is important but not a deal breaker either.
  7. I guess that would help wouldn't it. Plan on shooting USPSA Single Stack with it.
  8. Is the Remington enhanced R1 worth $150 more than the STI Spartan? I have looked at both, and the finish is much better on the Remington, but are there any other advantages of one over the other?
  9. I tried Win 8 when it was in beta. I know not a fair comparison, but once I looked it over good I did buy a new laptop. I went 10.8.2 and never looked back. If you just have to have a windows computer Win 7 is the way to go.
  10. I started with the 4 hole turret press, but that didn't last long before I stepped up to a Blue press. I still keep the Lee for small runs of test ammo. All it takes is to load on a Dillon and can tell that they are worth more than what they charge for them. The big down side to lee for me is customer service. I had a $.90 part break and they wanted to charge me 9.95 for shipping, but on my blue press I have accidentally broken a piece or two and all it took was a call and the parts were here in a couple of days at NO CHARGE.

    Nevermind

Should't have posted it in the first place. Just needed to vent.
  12. Congrats on getting it back an staring to get it together. It also looks like you kind of got your wreathed wish as the temp dropped but the humidity has sky rocketed. Where are you shooting at green river or rockcastle?
  13. Could be worse I saw in an article some where a woman named her daughter Sha-a and was mad when it was misspelled Shadasha.
  14. Plus with his version you will have the ability to use it on three computers.
  15. I have loaded on the 1000 it was much more trouble than it was worth. I used a lee turret prior to my dillon it wasn't fast but got the job done.
  16. Vortex has one. When its hot I usually wear a golf hat that has a mesh back. http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vortex-elk-logo-cap-green-mesh
  17. Inhave never had a problem with either Winchester or federal primers. Federal being the softest I've used.
  18. I have 6 gig of memory. I am reading that Quicken on the Mac does not work and play well. Any other reliable personal finance software for Mac thats as good as Quicken? This may be a deal breaker for me. I didn't have any problems with quicken on my Mac.
  19. If you dry fire you can replace the primer with a pencil eraser. I also paint the brass a bright color so not to mix them up.
  20. I haven’t reloaded 9mm in about 15 years, so I’m starting over. I had some Zero 115gr JHP left over that I somehow kept up with for this many years, and I went out and picked up some Zero 125gr JHP and 147gr JHP. Once I get my new scale I am going to get started. I found the load data from Hodgdon’s website, but nothing for the 147’s. Any help would be appreciated. I am loading for a M&P full size. I am thinking 115 4.8gr 125 4.5gr 147 ? OAL 1.13
  21. I had trouble with my puller at one time. Come to find out using a solid wood block and a good swing solved it.
  22. I like to buy local If I can. I don't care to spend a little more and it gives me peace of mind that if I have an emergency I won't have to wait for a delivery.
  23. I am not a revolver shooter, but I would think you would want something you can load with moon clips not one bullet at a time. That and it's a single action. The Ruger ring is common on about all the Blachawk and Vaqueros I've seen.
