Would it pay to lighten the slide on a trubo.

I also. More dry firing, more fitness I would like to make B class in production and then maybe move to CO or open. I turn 65 in April so I got to get at it.

FMJ or Platted for production. Shadow 2 using coated now 147gr. Just thought I would try something different.

After you have the gun and it is running. How expensive is open. I know if I have to ask don't shoot it. Just curious.

James. Nice gun. My question is why are you getting out of open and going back to production. I am think of going the other way. Maybe you can help me make a decision.

Kinda expensive. And my base is in 3gun and production. Open is fun. But my true love is irons. Kinda doing the tactical Timmy thing and want to shoot something close to what I also use as a edc.
So kinda a personal choice really. I know a lot of good people that shoot open. And it was really fun in the matches I shot.
Just dont shoot 3 gun heavy. LOL!! It’s a exercise in futility!! ????

Well. I carry a PCR , shoot spo1 and shadow 2 in production. I have a TSO that has not been fired yet. I would like to try open. But again there is CO.

Why leaving open? Maintenance , cost, or just not having fun. I am on the fence help me. I shoot production now.

The RO said it was fast and very close and he had another RO verify it. It’s a learning experience and I will be very cautious on barrel reloads.

Yes I understand, This is my first year and learning a lot. Just though he should have stop me. It’s not a problem it was my first DQ it was the next to last stage. Stayed and help past and clean up after match.

I was DQ after the COF. Half way through they said I swept my hand grabbing a mag off a barrel but left me finished the COF. Should I have been stop at the infraction.

3.4 gave me 134 PF. Loading 1.125. Going to chrono again tomorrow. Drop down to a 10 lb recoil spring felt good right back on target.
