  1. I have used and continue to use both the Wilson and the CMC.That being said, neither have worked 100% of the time.I shoot a Springfield Loaded model and have never had aproblem with the factory 7 rd mags that came with it nor have I had any problems with the CMC Shooting Stars or Wilson 8 rders. Also the overinsertion tab on the Wilson will break off sometimes,no problem just send it back to them.My advice would be to try one of each(borrow one from a fellow shooter)and see which one you prefer.

    Checkout Line

A young woman is in the checkout line at the grocery store when a drunk gets in line behind herAfter she places a gallon of milk,a dozen eggs, loaf of bread and a box of cookies on the conveyor belt the drunk says" you must be single".The woman looks at the items she is purchasing and sees nothing out of the ordinary. She asks the drunk how he can tell she is single. The drunk replies"Cause you're ugly!".

    Daily Zen

If someone says you are one in a million that means there are 1,000 people just like you in China.
  4. I hate my fuel pump going out on my way to work, walking to a pay phone in a thunder storm to call a tow truck, the service dept.at the dealership taking until 4pm to get it replaced while I sit in the waiting area all day, geting home and snapping the bolt head off the screw while putting a new front sight on my Glock.
  5. That would be more like some Bryce,Askins Jordon and Cirillo.
  6. Cheryl Lemke,Christina Abernathy and Melissa Barrington .My 3 favorite Weather Channel babes.
  7. "Cause you're wanted by the po-lece and my wife thinks you're dead".Another fan here as well.
  8. The rotation of the earth applys to artillery pieces.Don't ask me how it works.I was on the gun,not in FDC.
  9. Another one that I used this past weekend,"This is a new gun and I have only shot it to zero the sights"

    Southerners

Yonder is an unnown distance that ranges from just out of sight to a few miles.
  11. You were asking about IPSC Production, sorry I thought you meant USPSA.
  12. As long as it is a front post and rear notch you are okay.
  13. IMHO There would be more people shoot in Open 10 than in Revolver.
  14. I was curious to see the movie.Moore really streched to tie things together.A woman on welfare being forced to ride to work on a bus was the reason her elementry school son took a gun to school and shot another student. WTF??.
  15. You need to become friends with the pain.Seriosly though,Paul Sharp covered it real well. Also ditto on the Muellar band($3 or$4 at Wally World).I have found that stretching the forearm helps quite a bit as well (hourly if you can).
  16. Na,The color would have been the kicker.Besides after discovering the local high octane "spring water" in my teenage years there was nothing that could have even compared.
  17. How very true. When I saw the thread title those words came to mind before I read the content.
  18. Having never shot anything bigger than a club match I am going to step up this year and do the TN,GA,and ALA state matches.
  19. As a former owner of a 21 and a 30 I can say that they were the two most accurate Glocks I've had.The ones I had that I can compare them to were two 19s,two 23s,a 20 and a 26.Hope this helps.IIRC Massad Ayoob is real high on the 30 as being the most accurate Glock he has fired.
  20. What a sad ending of the week.Yesterday I learned of Mr.Rodgers dying and today a guy who hosted a local childrens show for 20 yrs (58-78) passed away from complications with diabetes.
  21. The worst thing I ever heard of people drinking was KIWI shoe polish melted and filterd through bread. That was a story told to us in basic back in 83 about the Russian soldiers.I never tried it cause I just assumed it was some form of Cold War propaganda.
  22. NM,His initials are P.W.,He is a great guy but man he can talk.He retired and moved up here where he was from originally but he can't find work here so he is moving back.He has been a big help but some of us have taken to wearing our hearing protection for the entire match.
  23. We up here in Tn. are going to send you a shooter back down there to live after he shoots the match(He moved up here from Waco). He talks too much .Seriously though I hate to see him go,he's a good guy and a big help.
  24. It has been a while since I have shot my recurve.I have an Archery Traditions/Dan Quillion takedown.First you will need at least 10lbs less draw weight than you shoot with a compound. If you want speed look for one that has renforced tips to take a fast flight string. You will want to learn to shoot instinctly,Visualize the flight of the arrow and burn a mental hole in the spot you want to hit.I would suggest starting with a 45 or 50 lb bow you are holding all the weight as you go through the aiming proccess.I also would suggest starting with one of the lower priced models then if you decide not to shoot it much you won't be stuck with a $400 stick.Hope this helps. Also there is a magazine called Traditional Archery or Hunter that is on newsstands every where,I got a lot of tips out of it.
