Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. ACTUALLY I HEARD IT FROM SEGAL'S LAST MOVIE WITH DMX. "EXIT WOUNDS"
  2. I HAVE ONLY BEEN LURKING AROUND THE FORUM FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, BUT THERE IS TONS OF VETERAN KNOWLEDGE HERE. I LIKE TO SHOOT BOWLING PINS AND I HAVE READ IN HERE MORE THAN ONCE THAT INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON THE TARGET, FOCUS ON THE FRONT SIGHT. I HAVE TRIED IT AROUND THE HOUSE AT VARIOUS THINGS. IT REALLY HELPED ME GET ON TARGET FASTER I THINK. THAT IS A MAJOR PROB. OF MINE. WHEN I COME UP FROM DRAW I TEND TO TWIST THE FRONT OF THE GUN TO THE LEFT. I CAN SEE THE FRONT SIGHT ALRIGHT BUT IT IS TO THE LEFT OF THE BARREL POINTING AT THE TARGET STATION NEXT TO ME.(ALITTLE EXAGGERATION THERE) I HAVE A MATCH SUNDAY. I CANT WAIT TO SEE IF IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN MY SCORES. THANKS FOR THE BRAINFOOD GUYS AND GALS
  3. I HEARD THIS ON A MOVIE AND THOUGHT "HOW TRUE" THE GREATEST TRICK THE DEVIL EVER PULLED WAS CONVINCING THE WORLD HE DID NOT EXSIST!
  4. I can relate to the flinching prob! You might try buying a 22 caliber pistol. Something like a ruger mark II. These guns are extremely accurate. Buy one with a bull barrel, there is almost no recoil. this will help to see excatly what you are doing when the gun goes off. The shooting consistently low might not all be you. Have you had the lbs checked on the trigger pull of your guns? Some guns have heavy trigger pull from the factory for liability reasons. I have a Colt 45 that I kept shooting to the left with. I had a trigger job done on it and it is like a new gun.
  5. The gun is a Ruger Redhawk 44 mag. What lb spring comes in it from the factory? What type of scale do you use to check lbs on the trigger?
  6. I would like to know how to change the mainspring to lessen the trigger pull when shooting the gun double action. Also what can be done to lessen the trigger pull with the hammer back?
