  1. That kind of info would be in a match book. Is there a pdf of it anywhere?
  2. If I was still in the scoring business, I'd still be doing the dropbox method. That is, download the .apk file and stick it in dropbox. Then on each nook, setup dropbox (Rootnscoreit adds dropbox as a standard app) to point to that folder, and then just go from nook to nook hitting dropbox and tapping on the .apk file to install.
  3. Doesn't your phone has Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore? Update app from there. Phone pulls from google play. Interesting thing is, I'm home now and looking at one of my nooks running ps 1.2.30 (201506071728) and it DOES have an 'Update App' bar at bottom of Sync screen. So this is a 1.2.30 nook-only feature? Yes, it's a (for all intent and purposes) a nook-only feature. If you have access to google play or the amazon app store, you don't really need it. (You COULD still download the .apk yourself, however, if you wished, for archival or recovery purposes.)
  4. Yeah, for $50 how bad can it be? At worst, you could use it for indoor clubs.
  5. Huh! Looks like you can do something with it. At 1024x600 resolution, will PS deal with that screen size okay? (I'm guessing "yes", aren't the nooks 800x600?)
  6. You know, I'l be honest, you're probably the first one to try to use this. No, I don't any ideas. I think that's a Ken question at support@practiscore.com.
  7. ...which means you're not syncing back to a master during the match. That is, if someone drop the tablet and steps on it, you either just lost that stage or lost that entire squad's match. Not good.
  8. I heard that too about a $50 6" amazon something-or-other. Didn't know if it was another of their non-rootable dedicated readers or if it were an actual android-based device. 32gb on a microsd card is kind of overkill for practiscore considerations, but for $11, overkill works very well! Oh! And not just 32gb, but 32gb Class(10)! VERY fast, and a deal even at the regular price of $14.95!
  9. (There better NOT be different versions of 1.2.30 or 1.2.anything out there!) Not on mine, same build. That's the bottom of the list. Nothing afterward.
  10. Just curious, did you buy them from JC Wren? If so, then you have part of the SRGC IPSC GA-09 fleet, and I sold them with cards in place for the specific purpose of using dropbox to get the latest .apk file.
  11. ??? Not that I see on 1.2.30. Last thing there is "Practiscore Support" which goes to a http://practiscore.com/support, and that no longer exists (now called practiscore.com/blog/support).
  12. Does that work in the Android version? I am up to date, so when I tap the update app, nothing happens, which might be the correct behavior. But, it would be great if that works, as I can't find the APK on Practiscore.com anymore. Bud https://practiscore.com/blog/
  13. As Ken said, a points series feature pretty much already exists in the apple iOS version of practiscore. Here's a html file containing combined results from 3 South River Gun Club GA-09 matched in Oct-Dec, 2014. Combined_Match_Results20150904.html The feature give you a lot of options for generating series results:
  14. Sounds like the "about" option was already invoked on your phone if the "development" menu selection was visible.
  15. Works. You do have to turn on ADB on the android device, but then it seems to operate pretty well.
  16. Not at all, the specs can be different between slightly differently named models. It seem like MemoPad7 has very similar specs to Nexus 7 for what matters. The main difference is no NFC, but SD card slot on the MemoPad. Internal storage may wary, but 8gb is more than enough for PS needs and the rest like cameras and all is not relevant. Though I can't compare CPU (they are different) and battery life for those devices. Agreed!
  17. Routers? Most anything will do. Common are Linksys and Netgear.
  18. You really want to knit-pick? https://www.asus.com/Tablets/ASUS_MeMO_Pad_7_ME176C/
  19. Can't get the google nexus 7 anymore? Why not? Just curious. OH! Hmm, never mind, looks like google dropped it from the line! And really, the only meaningful difference between the google-branded asus 7 and the plain asus 7 is that google gives you an android build devoid of any of the usual banded bloat-ware that other sellers add to the operating system, so the regular asus 7 would probably do fine.
  20. Wait... 1.661? The current version is 1.667 (2). I think you may need to update your app there.
  21. Dropbox doesn't really map so much to your drive as it does SYNC files to your system. They exist physically on each computer you have logged into your dropbox account, and also exist on the dropbox server.
  22. Did you contact them at support@practiscore.com?
  23. Best suggestions, then. What would YOU put on a nook stage device?
  24. Can any of those items be routed to dropbox? Rootnscoreit has that on there already for the primary reason of updating practiscore itself.
