If the stage is published before the match and I feel I can set it up in a way that will be very similar to the match (ie standards) I will absolutely practice it.

SHO and WHO are always good to do....in point of fact I do most drills freestyle then SHO and WHO... I'm not trying to stifle creativity....I just don't think you need to be creative in thinking of drills as there are already enough drills out there to work on every aspect of practical shooting there is. I've always been the person who would rather be practicing than thinking of ways to practice.

I never understood why people always feel they need to improve upon something that doesn't need fixing. This may sound harsh but leave it alone until you can shoot it under 7 seconds adjusted time. Once you can do that, then think about changing it....if you can't do that you need to focus on shooting the drill rather than brainstorming ways to improve the drill. It isn't meant as a reload drill...it is meant as a speed drill which is why there are 3 strings.

I disagree because I am reading the sights for all of the shots....for some reason the last one is just faster. You know me...a fear of speed is definetely something I don't have.

Wow your doing 2.25 runs at 15 yards? That's better than I can do with a dot at 10 yards most of the time. You've gotta be a hell of a shooter to do that........ Hopefully your coming to nats, you could seriously kick some ass with those skills if you did.....

I experience the exact same thing...my last shot in a position or before a reload is normally a very very fast split (been clocked under .10).

As someone who has already taken a course from them I recommend it whole heartedly. This course brings something to the table for shooters of all skill levels. If your desire is to improve you need to do whatever you can to get in this class short of selling your kidneys. I would take this class again in a second....and I am VERY picky on instructors.

The VAST majority of money is spent in bringing RO's in and lodging them for the duration of the match.

I saw Stewart's GR backpack and that thing is sweet. When I get a few extra bucks expect to see me with one of those. I HATE carrying range bags around.

I think it is fine to shoot through barrels however I would probably never do it. I like to see the target I shoot at....if you don't you are shooting nothing but hopers. That (obviously unintentional) Bravo could have just as easily been a Mike.

I still haven't heard what good it would do. What would bringing it back inline with IPSC really do that is so great? For that matter why don't we drop Limited and adopt Standard instead?

I don't really see the point of changing the division. What would it solve? The 10 round part of Production is part of the thing that makes the division so tough to shoot. I think it's a case of trying to fix something that really isn't broken.

My first advice would be to tell you don't worry about par times. Aspire to improvement on these kinds of drills...not a certain time goal.

Just got back....fantastic match. Unfortunantly my most dismal performance of this year....although 8 seconds of jams on a 10 hit factor stage certainly puts a damper on your performance...

I don't remember offhand what my best is for this....I'm thinking in the mid to low 6's though. I asked Max what is PB is on this....you guys don't even wanna know...trust me.

I was thinking the same thing....there are a few big names missing. Sevigny and Tilley are the first ones that come to mind. Grauffel as well.

I have no idea what I do....generally my finger just moves when the red thingy is in the center of the target. (Yes I know how bad that sounds).
