  1. I am having the same issue. You'd think by now they'd have this squared away. The included socket head screw requires a larger size allen wrench than what is included and as TravisB_02 stated, the large leaf spring spacer will not work with it. So, almost three years after the OP you still have to buy additional screws to make these work bullets out... and drill holes.

My feeling is if your intention is to start in competitive shooting, get the Shadow 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  6. Yes on the short grip but that base pad is the Hennings. From what I’ve read, this seems to be the best combo. Also, I had to use the 17 round CZ mag tubes. The 18 round Mec-gars are too long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. So what’s the deal with this? Are there no non-toxic, non-petroleum based lubes that actually lube? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Actually worked out very well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. Thanks but ended up with the Armory Craft
  10. I have an Akai Shadow that my son is going to run in Limited. What’s the general consensus on a magwell? CZ Custom? Or is there something else? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. I see Lucas Oil has gun products as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. I think the Shadow 2 is a bit smaller than the Shadow and I know that fits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have the same gun in a 4" version. Love mine. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  14. Mike, I initially bought a Witness Elite Match in .40 for something to use in USPSA. Because the gun is SAO it is not legal in Production. I shot it in a couple of local IDPA matches to see how it handled. The gun was an absolute tack driver. Very accurate with little recoil. The issue I was having was getting the magazines to lock in. On every mag change they wouldn't engage unless I really slammed them in. I brought the gun to a local smith to see about the mag issues. First I learned that although these are CZ clones the internals are different. While in the shop I played with a custom SP-01 Shadow. This gun just fit me so much better and had an incredible trigger. It was also legal for Production which is were I really wanted to compete anyway. I sold the Tanfoglio, bought the CZ and have been very happy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. And you did great for not shooting in 2 1/2 years! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
