  1. I can definitely see how Adderall would increase perception in this game. With that being said, is USPSA really serious enough to warrant drug abuse? NOPE! This is a game - some of you all take this shit too seriously... The film "Limiteless" is a very interesting flick by the way.
  2. I'll gladly trade my JP trigger to anyone who wants to get rid of their S3G/SD3G.
  3. Relevant question - what happens if a live primer is inside of a cartridge and the cartridge is fired? I found a live primer inside a piece of brass during resizing (the decapping pin hit it). I'm almost sure the swaging station on a 1050 would sufficiently crush or set off a primer like that - had the pin missed it. What would happen if it made it all the way into a gun and the trigger was pulled?
  4. I've had nightmares about a primer accidentally falling inside of the powder hopper and the pinching action of the lever setting the whole thing off. Whenever I'm loading primers or there are primers loose on my bench for pickup - I check to see if my hopper is covered.
  5. You're probably bumping it. I can do it intentionally from the shoulder - doesn't happen to me if I don't want it to.
  6. Definitely worth a return trip - my team is planning on being there again!
  7. If you're not trying to win - shoot whatever makes your no-no hard! Eventually I'm going to shoot a match with my HK53.
  8. Let me be the second to say it. I too have an AK that shoots 2 MOA and it sits in the safe. It's a great tool for some things - not for playing this game.
  9. Exactly! If you put something together that even functions, it won't be competitive.
  10. I have two 21" M1's. Now that everyone is using tubes suited for jousting, barrels as long as 26-28" won't effect your game at all.
  11. I wonder why they're so expensive...
  12. I'd definitely be in favor of majors adopting the Blue Ridge (procedural) grip safety rule. It's better than a long car/plane ride home from a major. The main reason I asked though was so I can institute the rule at a club level match if there's not something inherently dangerous about it that I don't know.
  13. The grip safety is going to be disactivated while you're holstering, so this doesn't seem like a good analogy. Correct. If you are gripping the pistol - you are deactiving the safety. That's similar to allowing someone to reholster a Glock with their finger deactiving the safety on the trigger (but not pulling it). Not considering that - just abandonment.
  14. I can't see how a functional 1911/2011 grip safety is any less safe than a Glock. Can someone help me understand? If someone ditched a 1911/2011 with the thumb safety off and claimed to have a functional grip safety, you'd test it by unloading and showing clear, gripping the weapon below the grip safety and pulling the trigger. If the hammer falls - DQ. If not, holster - range is clear. This doesn't even require the shooter's input since it's repeatable and won't slow down matches where RO's clear guns behind shooters. As far as I know, Blue Ridge allows it and 3 Gun Nation was REALLY close to allowing it until during the day of the first match, a shooter was not certian if their functional grip safety would stop the hammer in all situations. Not sure where the conflict was.
  15. I can't imagine how hard the M1's action would be on a snap cap...
  16. Don't you f*#king judge me! http://www.lansinoh.com/
  17. Nipple cream for breast feeding works great. I'm not shitting you. It's embarrasing as hell every time I buy it. *Cashier gives me strange looks* "IT'S LUBRICANT FOR MACHINE PARTS!" *Cashier gives me strange looks*
  18. I'd love to shoot and reload .357 Sig if it didn't require case trimming. There's no way in hell I'd trim pistol brass - period...
  19. And I'm guessing if you're ranked #1-47 you can sit this one out right?
  20. Using a powder like HS-6 will give you the option of safely loading a lot of gun powder (like 7 grains) and still staying minor. That's my goal in multigun which has no power factor.
  21. Effective if you use a load with a lot of gas (a lot of gunpowder).
