Way to go Kathy!!!!!!
I can't seem to get my "Field course" on paper the way I see it in my head....
Lots easier to build and design stages "on the fly" at the range !!!!
SAM
Hey - I like the new avatar
And yes, putting it on paper, with the right dimensions and scale was the HARDEST part of the course! Carl was a saint to put up with me

I passed, finally \0/

Shooter Grrl, any time you want to send me a dependable router, please do so.
I'll send the big guy to the storage room to rummage for it sometime this week. I'll let you know if we find it
-
I had really good luck with a Netgear router. If I can find it, I'll send it to you
(It was working when I switched to wireless) How big of a hurry are you in?

Northern California: Richmond 1st Sunday, TASC 2nd Saturday, Solano 2nd Sunday, Ione Steel Challenge 2nd Sunday, Ione 3rd Saturday, Richmond 3rd Sunday, Oakdale 3rd Sunday, TASC 4th Saturday, Ione 4th Sunday
And that doesn't include IDPA, long gun, 3 gun, or other matches.
Actually, ALL of California - the Bay Area as listed by Erik and in the South you have Piru, Norco, Ridgecrest, Pala, San Diego, Palm Springs and a TON of others! Not to mention, California has MORE sightseeing stuff than Florida and the weather is pretty much perfect all year!

Did you check with Shooters Connection?

Oooweee - I am 100% Jock/Rebel
How did y'all get all those other choices too??@?!?
-
Hmmm - I hadn't planned on going, but we just may show up

<SIGH> I've been shanghaied! I'm working on it
<SIGH>
FIXED - you can see the videos now

I probably won't go in JULY anywhere! But then again, the Nationals, IMHO are the most fun you can have with your clothes on
-
I have a couple of videos - and one really cool picture
Me on Stage 3 (RO is Caspian 45!)
David on ONE of the bed stages - I can't remember the stage number!
-
I'll take some better pics and get them posted, just give me time
Flyin40 - it looks as if this is gonna end up being my gun. First, Dave switched to Limited from now until the 3 Gun Nationals, and second, it's longer and heavier than he prefers (which is, thankfully, the way I DO prefer them!)

See, open guns aren't so finicky!
Looks good.
Nope - not finicky at all, IF YOU BOTHER TO LISTEN to those that have gone before
-
I hope she shot a lot of A's for you.
Thanks Benny - since David shot it at the Nats, I can guarantee she hit lots of A's

I bought the Dell 20gb cause it promised not to skip and I bought to wear while riding on the lawnmower (I broke 3 cd players last summer on it!)
IT WORKED! The batteries lasted through the whole mow, it never skilled, and when I dropped it and ran over it, it still worked

Clearly Jack, you are someone that has been there, done that and truly learned what is most valuable in life. Thank you for being willing to share it with us

Ticks
in What I Hate
I'm only half plastic
Since I left the land of fruits and nuts, I'm losing more and more of it!!!!
-
The RO'S ROCKED! I only saw one "head scratcher" through the whole 18 stages and it wasn't even that bad - just a call that I thought wasn't right.
I tried to remember to thank each of them individually for standing out in that crap and for volunteering their time. (I say tried, cause heat makes your brain go - as BDH mentioned!)

Ticks
in What I Hate
Whadda damned ugly combination. Didja know that ticks like warm damp places to attach to? Do you know how much of you is warm and damp in 102 degree heat with 90% humidity??!?!
What I don't understand is how he got all the way up under my damned hat without me or anyone else noticing the little shit on his travels!!!!!!!
Ticks suck

See my new gun post in the gallery. Beven's tuned mags transferred flawlessly to our new gun, in less than ideal environs!
-
I *knew* your memory sucked, thanks for confirming it for everyone else.
-
Yeah - what Clay1 said - it's oil - we kept her well lubed this week!!!!

Yes, I realize there's a course here with the same name, but I honestly did NOT know that when I created this thing!
