I've met John - I think he's lying about his age
But... I hope it was good one for both of you!

If he is going to be sticking his hand in an ass pot...he'd better get some of Zuzu's grip tape.
Not in the ass pot, at the ass pot! His hand is safe, but Bane's money ain't!!!!!
-
Hmmm, so is bigass one word than? Maybe I shoulda used gargantuan, hmmmm...
try his luck at the gargantuan Mr. Bane has put up...
Naw, big ass pot sounded bigger
-
I'll do it, but you're gonna have to teach me some of those trick scripts you use
-
And when he gets back from Mexico, he's off to the Steel Challenge to try his hand at that big ass pot Mr Bane has put up!

Hosers are not bad - they too force you to develop skills. I've seen many many many many many many misses on hoser stages from people "assuming" that they can just spray and pray.
That said, an entire match of it is okay occasionally, but I REALLY REALLY prefer a nice balance of stages.

Happy Birthday all y'all!

Duuude.... Cause none of those cost as much as one of our custom made guns!
My husband said he was gonna be my a 2 carat for our 20 year, I told him I wanted a Limited Gun instead

SG,
The setup notes define the shooting area. But, you are right, in that the procedure doesn't make that clear.
Right, and do you see anywhere in the setup notes how wide those sticks are supposed to be? Or do you even see anywhere in the setup notes anything other than the word barricade? There is no defined shooting area other than that the barricade is 4ft wide.
I didn't game it, but this needs to go up the flagpole and get fixed, no?

Range Lawyer Discussion
I don't think you have to stay within the lines of the barricade. Nowhere in the course description or the setup does it even reference fault lines.

Later, I found that we were short. (Manny sent all that we requested, we seem to have lost one.)
Why do I have this sinking suspicion that it's not my High Limited Lady plaque that you lost?!?!

Again, I feel I have to say this, PLEASE let us know if you need anything! My home is open to any of you, my wallet, my time, my heart, my prayers - whatever you need.
-
Thank you everyone. Your thoughts and prayers have really helped me get through this last week. I really appreciate each and every one of you.
To those of you struggling with ailing parents, keep the faith. It's tough to watch and care for them, but the relief is overwhelming once the pain and suffering have ended. My Mom is truly in a better place now.

I'm with Erik on waiting for nationals and area dates to be announced before we finalize the dates.
-
Jim please know that the my prayers are with you and your family. And seriously, be sure to let us know what you need. Are you in a hotel now or with family?

This isn't good. And, its going to be a long fall and winter for a lot of people. I've seen some stuff i thought I'd never see, but I don't think any of that can prepare me for what we're about to walk into.
You're not going yet are you? Don't you have to wait until the water is gone to assess the damage?

This is looking really ugly and the news idjots aren't helping much! I'm really really really hoping that they are overstating ALL of it. But in any case, I have a feeling Dave, Merlin and Nemo will be in Louisiana and/or Alabama by the end of tomorrow.
Y'all stay safe. We'll be praying for you and for those in the path of this b*tch!

Mary Ellen Dietsch, 62, of Harmony Township, formerly of Lincoln City, Or., passed away August 25, 2005, at home, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Before moving to Pennsylvania in 2000 she owned and operated a home construction and remodeling business in Oregon for 20 years. She was known, affectionately, to her family and friends as, “The Fiery Red Head”.

The ammo was held up, I believe by our State Department, waiting for permits. I'm pretty sure I saw a post about it from Ivan.
-
I'm out too - Gotta go spell Dad from Mom duty for the weekend
-
That's it dammit - I'm GOING to the next one!!!!!

This is the BEST match ever! If you're not planning on going, CHANGE YOUR PLANS! Sam does an outstanding job of putting together quality stages that challenge your shooting skills. Not to mention that these are the friendliest damned people I have ever met! You'll be sorry if you don't come play with us!

My husband has accused me of moving so much JUST so I can go to new clubs to shoot

Not antagnizing but still don't you think that a mininum A/C or 7 points dropped, on every target is "not too much to ask for"?
Your HF at the same time would be 8.89 100% win
There were 8 Targets - I shot all a's on all but 2 of them... the swingers were a d,d and a c,d! I don't think that's all that bad points wise!
Kathy, if you get in your head that you're slow, that can set you back months or years. btw, what does Dave say about all this...he's scary good.Dave couldn't help me with the math portion of this problem! He too wants to know the answer
Shooter Grrl you stepped back and I stepped forward and shot the stage. I think that was the biggest difference. I had a better view from up front. I already had my gameplan prior to you shooting, I didn't change anything.I stood still - never took a single step. Shame on you for not noticing that - you probably could have picked up another .5 second right there!
Is It Proper To Buy A Yarmulke?
in Miscellaneous Topics That Do Not Fit in Any Other Forum

Betcha ya never thought to see this on a shooting forum But where else am I likely to find a quicker (and honest) answer than here with my extended family
So... David's in Israel. His Grandparents are Jewish. His Grandfather's 90th Birthday party is less than a month away. PERFECT GIFT BUYING OPPORTUNITY!
If it's not proper to buy a yarmulke as a gift, what could he buy for him while he is there?
Oh, and is there a woman's equivalent?
