  1. Yea, I hope you can get it up on you tube soon would be great to watch.
  2. Rob has been shooting for a long time, and has been one of the best out there. Whats so wrong with him winning a revolver match. like the guy above said, he's a machine, he's good at any shooting sport.
  3. And Quinn. Predator, Allchin. Could some one put some web site address' in here so a guy could check them out.
  4. If there's no loading data in your book's then I think you should do the safe thing and give it to me, just looking out for your health.
  5. who builds the 90* mount for the c-more ?
  6. If you need a cylinder hone, you can pick them up at most auto parts store's. There called a ball hone and come in sizes from 1/4"or smaller up to about 5". I'm sure they would be cheaper than any gun related product and I'm fairly sure there the same thing. As for your titanium cylinders, I don't think your going to gain much by using them and you'll pay way to much for them. Have your stock cylinder cut for moon clips, get a good trigger job done and go shoot.
  7. so you shot the large snake... your lucky you wife didn't shoot the short one
  8. "my plan is to fasten a second block to the adjustment rod, below the main block holding the revo." the block your referring to has a small set screw in it to lock it in place even if the other bolts came loose.
  9. Just check your primer punch now and then. most times it's media that falls in the primer punch and can stay there for several rounds. I shoot alot of revolver so I'm always checking to see that the primers are seating deep enough and often catch the media in the primer punch that way.
  10. if you used federal primers you'd grow to like the size of the tray, As for how it's made, I've dropped it stepped on it, my dogs have even tried chewing on it and it still works fine .
  11. If you get a chance try AA#5 about 6.8 grains with a 115 grain bullet, I use this load in my open revolver and it seems to work well.
  12. Weather you watch or not, at least pay enough attention to go paste/tape, paint and reset targets between shooters. This past weekend on one all paper stage I was the only one taping, when the ro asked if I could hurry it up I suggested some other people standing sround discussing what they where going to do, get there a$$ down there.
  13. If you could seat them a little longer it mite help. Even if you do get them to feed, there not the most accurate bullets to shoot.
  14. I haven't been shooting for a long time so I like to look at the stage and get a plan, but I do watch others to see if they do it similarly to my plan. I find a lot of the time I can cut some time off my original plan by doing something another shooter did that I didn't think about or remember form my previous shooting experience.

    texas star

I have no idea of the time, but it sure seems alot of us shot the star this weekend. On our stage it was the last thing we shot, alot of steel and paper before we got to the star. With a draw or starting on the first shot? Thats some good shooting...
  16. How did you install the F/O front site ? I've got a 25-2 I'd like to get a F/O on. it appears to have the same ramp as yours, but I see no pins. It looks as if it was machined from a solid piece ? Thanks Glenn
  17. You shouldn't have any problems, enjoy your new toy.
  18. Thanks for the help guy's, as you can see the burn rate charts aren't very consistent.
  19. I've looked at several burn rate charts and none are the same. I'd like to find out which is slower/faster WSF or AA#5 This would be for a 38 super. TIA for any help
  20. I should take down that banner about only shipping on Wednesday and Friday. When we first opened the retail store, we didn't have a daily pick-up account with Fed-Ex or UPS. Now we do and we ship daily. After scouring the internet for a while myself I find our prices to be a little lower than others. I was worried I was high or something, as we get very little business from the Enos users. One of the things that hurts is so many people publish really low prices on line and have no items in stock nor are they expecting any. Look at Cabela's for example, they published good prices and allowed you to place an order, only to B/O you into oblivion. I sold 200,000 primers last week and have more on the way all the time. We do not limit our customers to how many they can buy. I'm in the business to sell stuff, so if you got the money I'm not going to tell you "no". Natchez Shooting Supply Pistol Primers in stock Federal Small Pistol - $33.46 per 1K Note – Orders limited to 5K primers per order As of yesterday they had both large and small federal primers !
  21. I bought a used 550b took it completely apart, cleaned it and reassembled it. That's to say I took the ram completely apart and out of the frame. The primer feed/ram adjustment screw was missing so I replaced it and took about 5 minutes to adjust everything. The press has been good to go sence. You should be able to adjust the primer feed/ram from the primer stand to align with the shell plate ? I know my terminology is wrong but hope you understand what I'm talking about.
  22. What press are you using ? I've got a 550 but never heard of an alignment tool ?

    627-3

If it turns out you don't like it, or don't need the 2 extra shots let me know ! Nice gun, I really like the balance on those 627-3's
  24. A smith 686 is a very strong gun, you should have no problems. How far away is your crono set up ? 10' or more ? You only need about 60/65 fps more for minor. Oh yea, you are headed in the right direction.
