Thank you guys. I tried the loaded round jiggling test and was not surprised that after a few light shakes my round was resting on the floor. I have adjusted the tention and am goig to go down to the range as soon as my wife goes to work and give it a test drive. I will be sure to poast my results. After months of dryfire practice and very little live fire I went to my second steel match this year and finally broke 2 seconds on the speed plate. 5 rounds on a 16" by 20" or so plate In 1.98 seconds may not be all that fast for some but I was so happy I bagged my gun and did a victory dance. ye ha

I have a kimber that I have put over 10,ooo rounds through. I bought it from the orriginal owner but do not know how many rounds he put through it. Last month at a steel match I had two fte. Yesterday I had 4. Last month the gun had just been completely stripped and cleaned so there was no buildup behind the extractor to cause it not to let go of the round. I do not see any chips or worn off material on the grasping edge of the extractor. For the last three years this had been a totally reliable gun. I would like to get it running well again. What else should I do?

The Professional is one of my altime favorites from beginning to end. It's hard to find a bad sceen in that one. The transporter when he kicks the door off its hinges. What an unhappy looking man.

What kind of followers do you have? I have had the same problem with aredondo followers switched back to stock para followers and the problem went away.

I like the uncle mike for gun games it seems to be pretty easy to draw from but for carry I find it a bit noisy. A few weeks ago I went out into my back yard to investigate what the dogs might be barking at. As I was walking around I noticed a strange rattling noise which turned out to be my kimber wiggling in the uncle mikes holster. At my first Idpa match the only holser I had to use was a iwb galco summer comfort for my little para p12. My kimber fit perfectly in it. It was easy to draw and surprisingly comfortable. just my opinion for what it's worth.

Wildman If you get a chance to expierement with the new hicap kimbers I would like to know what the results are. This may be a bit of a thread drift but I hear a few people talking about quality problems with para mags. I am wandering what kinds of problems you have experienced. I have 13 factory paramags, 1 ten round p12, 2 twelve rounders and ten or eleven 14 and 15 rounders. The only problems I have had with them in about 14,000, mostly through my p14, were ftf's and failure to lock back the slide. Both problem were gone as soon as I changed the factory springs to wolf +10% springs.

I was looking over at the technical threads for magazine interchangeability and I noticed that wilson, Kimber and bulm5 were all listed as being adaptable to para mags. Are these three guns all built on the same frame. If they are I think I may try and find a bul m5 to play with. They seem too be much less expensive than the other two. I have too many paramags to try a change in mag set ups. if I could find a quality platform that would use the same mags would love the see how a lighter frame would feel.

I like my point of impact to be about 1/2inch above my front sight

I am a medium sized guy so i find the model 20 difficult to conceal. I find the model29 too small for a 10 mm. If glock would make a midsized 10mm I would pick that as the one glock to have. It is an incrediblely versitile round and much easier too shoot than people will admit. Unfortunately glock does not seem to have an interest in producin a mid sized large frame. I think the model 23 is the next best thing. I only own one glock and I love my modle 23.

I have to vote for the shining. A simple stripped down movie that scared the piss out of me.

I'll tell you what I think sucks The latest gun controle whitch hunt has invaded one of my favorite local gunshops. Apparently the rifle used in the "DC" sniper shootings came from one of my favorite gun stores. I have heard so far no evidence on wrong doing on the part of the gun store other than some allegedly missing paperwork and yet it seems that the fed is going to try and shut the store down and nail the owner to the wall. I think that sucks

The blasters are nothing fancy just a boxstock kimber custom classic and a p14 ltd. Why does the comped gun benifit more from the lighter bullet than a stock barrel?
