    G34 doubling

I have seen this when there is improper engagement between the striker and the cruciform.
  2. Warsaw Rifle and Pistol Club 2141 N. CR 150 West Warsaw, IN, 46580 i hope that's the right address since it wasn't on the application
  3. TGO: My gunsmith retimes the gun so keep that from happening. To the cylinders. He has built ppc guns for years and I would put the three revos against anyone out there.
  4. i think we should be able to carry a back up revolver like SASS..... just kidding...
  5. we have done that in Oklahoma City..... most people just shot their 625's....
  6. Cliff brings up a point, a provisional open-revolver, limited-revolver, production-revolver would be the good way to see if other revolvers will come out and play with out harming the core revolver division groups. I attend major matches because of the challenge they provide and the comradely that revolver shooters provide. not the prize table. but my point was to attract more people into revolver it might be acceptable for revolver shooters to shoot for less since they aren't getting as much in return as the other divisions. I think that is a big turn off for most shooters.. why work your ass off for no return to shoot against maybe a handful of others in your class if any and pay as much as the shooter that gets rewarded in another division because of the number of like participants. Me: B class revolver shooter 2011 I shot revolver at the arkansa state match, area 5, area 4, and the MCC. 2012 I shot the Mississippi Classic, The IRC, LPR Nationals, and the MCC I don't want to count up all the local matches I shoot revolver in.. there were times I was the only one or one of only two.
  7. My belief to increase revolver shooters at major matches would involve a comprehensive plan. We need to do a scientific survey of the uspsa and icore members to see what it would take to get them to bring their revolvers out to a major uspsa match. My list doesn’t include adding an 8 shot because I have fun shooting with the revolver guys I shoot with. #1) lower the match fees for revolvers I believe a lower match fee for the division would be an easy way to bring a few more revolver shooters to a major. There is a contingency that will not shoot revolver at a major match because of limited competition and the doodie end of the stick when it comes to the prize table. Very little of the entry fees revolver shooters pay are directed back at the revolver division. Personally I’d rather see the excess money go to a charity than in prizes but that’s just me thinking out loud. #2) lower the number of competitors required for the division to be recognized New shooters like trophies, plaques, and recognition. If you’re the top C class revo guy out of the two C class guys that forked over the cash to shoot revolver than here’s your trophy.. again screw the prize table #3) develop a marketing strategy to market revolver to new shooters. Last year Sam Keen offered a free clinic to revolver shooters to train with him. Sam is a hell of a guy that is very charitable. I would love to train with Matt, Cliff, Mike, Josh and Elliot any chance I could get. I understand time is money and there are very few that make a living off of shooting but when you look at ICORE you see junior revolver shooters…. You don’t see that in USPSA. There has to be some way to make appeal to the next generation of shooters. Is 8 shot the answer? Probably not but it may be a start. I have been fortunate enough to have Bubber as my mentor with revolver. I have met some really great people in the few short years I have been yielding the wheel gun. I am straying a little this summer because I would like to see how I stack up in some of the other divisions. I am a wheel gunner by heart and plan to continue shooting them until either the division or I am dead… but I am also not going to put forth the resources to travel to major matches and not be in a recognized category.
  8. I think I could beat Matt with an 8 shot if Bubber or 343 loaded Matt's ammo for him it will either go boom or squib.......
  9. Brian Enos forums...... I have a hard time reading anything....unless it grabs my attention right off the bat...... any suggestions?
  10. I;m with 343.. I very seldom shoot a bottom feeder so it wouldn't effect how often i shoot revolver. i would think that allowing 8 shots should draw some of the die hard icore guys that don't own a 6 shooter.
  11. I offered Dave Sevigney a revolver to use since he will be at single stack but I don't think he's going g to take me up on it.
  12. i did 14 in one day there at the area 5 match in 2011.... it was definately a tough match to shoot in a one day format.
  13. I saw some 5 inch ones a while back... I found them through Google...I'll have to loom at see if I can find them again.
  14. im looking at some of those options as well.. my current set up on my g35 is the 25c polish, ghost rocket 3.5 and the zev spring kit... it's a pretty decent trigger set up... i would love to try before i buy some of these fancy triggers
  15. I can't thank bubber enough for what he has done for me as a shooter. Truly a great guy and a class act... happy birthday Roger.
  16. i think there are some of Josh Lentz on youtube, which is who I would argue that he doesn't have a weak hand...
  17. Revolver is where all the cool kids hang out anyway Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
