Just finished setting up some catfish jigs and throwing them in the tackle box. Never fished in a running river before though. How fast does the water move? Time to google that up. Anyone else in for some fishing Sat or Sun eve, lemme know. I got plenty o' fishing gear! Now if I could only figure out how to make room for the fish fryer and propane tank... :D

mine is "in the mail" Couldn't find someone to go with, so I'm going solo from atlanta. Going to check out a few sights on the way up. I'll be camped out in a tent river-side at a local campground to cut hotel costs and do a little bank fishing before and after the match, then drop by the vette museum in bowling green on the way back. Hopefully I can get squadded to shoot on Sunday. Looking foward to meetin' y'all!

rebuilds, you mean to turn your 17 round mags into 20 or 21?

That was going to be my experiment until I decided to dedicate myself to production division. I heard that 180 hard cast like precision and black bullets worked great over solo 1k with little smoke... However, the bayou bullets are supposed to be the bees' knees and completely smokeless. The following is a shameless plug, but: check out my ad in the classifieds section and save a few bucks.

It's a heavier gun than a 2011 or a glock, but it soaks up recoil. The trigger out of the box is as good as a factory trigger gets, it is very light with a short reset. It is a very accurate gun. It comes in at a lower price point than a 2011. Handles and points like any other CZ. Likes 1.135" loads with any fast burning powder, I liked 180 grain jacketed over titegroup. Any specific questions?

Sorry, one last question. I haven't shot out of state before, and I just need to make sure since I know matches may or may not have differences. In the match book, it states stages are open to inspection if a squad isn't shooting or getting ready to shoot. Does this include Friday evening after the ROs are done shooting? Thanks.

Few questions... It looks like I may be able to make it last minute. I have relatives in Lorton that I can stay with and it looks like it's an hour from the range. I read the match book but it doesn't have a squad schedule in there that shows when squads shoot, unless I missed it. When you guys say half-day format, I'm assuming squads shoot half the match saturday, then half the match sunday? I would want to shoot all stages Saturday if possible. The other questions, someone mentioned traffic. If I sign up for 8AM start on saturday (looks liek there's slots available), how is the traffic 6am saturday going south? Hopefully I can get my app out in the mail today, I'm stoked I can actually shoot out of state for the first time! Thanks for any replies!

I use the micrometer adjustable bar to throw 4.0 grains under a 124 jhp with little problem. once in 100 may throw low to almost none, haven't figured out why though. but that's why i look before adding the bullet on my LM. one time i saw a piece of cardboard, wierd. i may try duplicating the powder baffle i see a lot in dillon powder hopers to see if it fixes the problem. i think the issue is that with small charges under 3-4 grains, the opening in the micrometer bar becomes slit-shaped and powder may not drop nicely through it. otherwise, at my 4.0, it drops the same weight every time (minus the 1 in 100 issue). i know i've missed looking at the case once, and this was the result: ouch!

I'm not familiar with IPSC rules. I read pages 78 and 79 that describe production division. If it's allowed, I would respring the gun with #11 recoil and #15 mainspring, switch to the competition hammer (makes a big difference), and get some CZ competition sights with a 1.0mm front red fiber optic. For ammo, it seems common to pick a bullet in the 124-135 grain zone for soft recoil. If it is legal, the thin aluminum grips from czcustom.com and an extended magazine release button are nice additions as well.

Is the CZ tactial sport in 40 S&W competative in USPSA Limited?

You're right. I must be on the crack pipe lately. -

Not entirely. I own a grip reduced ts and it is still larger than a 75 series frame. The 75 feelslike a flyweight skinny gun next to the TS. -

found it. http://www.czforumsite.info/index.php?topic=29642.0 the barrel length nails it.. now, if cz custom built 500 of them and got them approved..... -

I must be losing my mind. I can't find it. maybe eerw remembers the post. otherwise, i thought it was in this thread: http://www.westminsterschool.com/Admissions_Tuition.html the response is rob from cz custom, but i coulda sworn there was an email from amidon that said no. -

The CTS is not legal for Limited division, because it is two different guns mixed in to one. Someone had a thread somewhere here or on czforumsite.info where John Amidon (sp?) replied and echoed that it was illegal.
