Glad to hear that She got her gun back. I wonder what the scum will get for this? Maybe if it goes to jury we can load the jury pool .
  2. Traffic is the same every where. If you live there, you know what areas to avoid and how to get around most trouble spots. The main problem with the Houston area is that it is so spread out. There are clubs that are in our "area" that take me two and a half hours each way to make the match. There are clubs in Central and East Texas that are closer to me than some of the Houston clubs.
  3. B & L contacts usually do not breath very well. Ask your optomitrist about choices. My optomitrist has a list of contacts that also shows how well "breathe" which makes them more comfortable to wear if you have dry eyes.
  4. The traffic alone rules Houston out!!! Let me see if I got this right. You play with loaded guns, but you are afraid of a little traffic??????????????????????????????????????? Besides, my Dad lives in Phoenix and they have nothing to talk about when it comes to bad traffic, their traffic is just as bad as Houston's.
  5. Houston, TX area, you can shoot 13 matches a month not counting special matches that are sometimes held on 5th weekends of the month.
  6. CRO here for about 7 years now. I think every one should take the RO class, there is a lot of very good information to be had in these classes.
  7. I like 6 round friendly classifiers, that way if there are revolver shooters they don't have to do standing reloads. Besides you may get some extra people bring out revolvers that normally would not with a 8 round friendly match. After all, this is supposed to be a fun game is it not?
  8. Toric lenses are great. I just hate the price compared to the regular contacts. I can still remember when I switched, it was like taking a layer of fuzzy film off of your eyes. Everything was so clear.
  9. Weather looks great for the Waco match this month.
  10. I guess powder choice is a big secret in Open.
  11. I have been out of the sport for some time. I am getting back in with a new 38 Super Open gun. I am having a hard time finding VV N350 and that is what I used in my previous open gun. When you can find it the price is outrageous. Can anyone point me in a good direction for a starting point with powder and maybe a good starting load using 115 gr. Montana Gold JHP and also I am trying some 124 gr. JHP to see the difference. I am running a 5 inch barrel with a Dawson's awesome comp #2 four upper ports and one side port on each side comp. I read the posts about Longshot and think I will try that powder also. Thanks for the help.
