Those of you who have ordered the 24" non-ported barrels - what do the run $$$?

I just picked it up from my FFL . Absolutely, without a doubt, the best trigger job I have ever felt on any polymer pistol and better than most custom 1911 trigger jobs. Un- freakin'-believable. Stippling looks first class and feels great. I'm taking it to the range after work. Kudos to Springer Precision. So, will you be shooting it on Sunday?

How much for said services? And how about some pics of the two new toys Mossberg sent you... or is that not allowed since they are still in development?

I had some debris fall into my trigger that would not allow the trigger to fully reset without racking the slide. A small brass shaving if I recall. And it would occur sporadically.

No it will not. As long as the magnet is placed and holds the magazine in accordance with division rules, (behind the hip for SS and Production they are perfectly legal in USPSA. I'm dealing with the improper ruling from the match you're referring to. Chuck ... I believe what Skydiver was referring to as the portion in red. I believe that will get you put in Open in USPSA, but not in IPSC. Does post #176 Here come in to play?

Yvette, Copperas Cove Pistol Club has IDPA on the 1st Saturday of the month, Action Pistol on the 2nd and 3 Gun on either the 3rd or 4th Saturday. Lots of folks from Ft. Hood show up to shoot.

Rich, How do you install the bases? I've looked at the photos on your web site and do not see screws or plates. And do they fit the gauge when installed? Edit to add: I was able to zoom in on one of the pics and it appears there is a hex head screw in the top of the back???

bigbear, I was hoping someone would post a sight picture. What widths are the notch and the post pictured?

For my XDM using 185 Precision Bullets 4.0 of Clays loaded to 1.130" hits right at a 170 PF.

I'm looking for some additional info before I send in my app. For those of you who have shot this match before - can you steer me to a decent hotel in the area, or is there possibly a match hotel? Is it two days of shooting? If so, is there an option to do it in one? Will the ROs be shooting on Friday? Anything else I should know?

So what grit would everyone recommend? One that would gently caress your avatar? Of all the lubes I've seen recommended on the forum, Baby Oil has never made the list.

2.6gr Clay with all else the same puts me at a PF of 135ish for IDPA.

Recent chrono data from my XDM .40 4.0gr Clays Precision 185 1.130ish OAL 10 rounds fired with the following velocities: 928, 938, 921, 919, 919, 914, 922, 919, 925, 897 (Standard Deviation = 10)

So what grit would everyone recommend?
