I purchased a NIB 40 Pro on-line a coupe of days ago. The included fired case is dated December 2011. Is that recent enough to avoid the known issues or are there some I still need to be on the look out for?

What did the tweaks entail?

Do your recall the temperature at time of chrono? 4.6 gr put me @ 170 PF at 70 degrees.

Had the same issue with one of my very first extended mag releases several years ago (do not remember who's it was). Swapped it out with another from the same maker and the problem went away. On another note, within the last couple of months I have had two brand new Springfield mags to this. It gave me fits for a couple of matches until I finally realized it was not my pistol.

Had a chance to fondle one at the LGS today - the trigger was odd when dry firing in the fact that it stayed ALL the way to the rear of the trigger guard (like it was stuck) until the slide was racked. None of my XDs or XDMs do this.

They did not fit the mag gauge on my 5.25 tubes. No problem with the Pistol Gear bases. IIRC you need the Canyon Creek base pads with his mag well.

I had a similar issue a couple of years ago - it was a small piece of debris that had worked its way into the trigger and not letting the safety reset.

A quick question regarding the rooting - is it possible to have a searchable pdf version of the rules on the Nook Simple after it is rooted following the guidelines in this thread?

Probably a wise choice, but I got a lot of people at one club who already have android smartphones and tablets, so I have to get familiar with that side of it as well. Is there any non-specialized android tablet around that is wifi only and doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Post #15 has a link to a decent deal.
