  5. Brian, The screenshots that both ima45dv8 and Youngeyes, posted were the same error messages I was getting last week when I reported the errors. When you refresh the page you will goto the thread you were trying to access initially. Edit: Just received the error while trying to access this thread in the Dillon Reloading Forum. Cheers ....
  6. Brian, Got the error when both ways, when clicking on forums and and on topics. Cheers ....
  7. Got the following error 12 times within the last 1 hour, when trying to access Revolver, Rules and Multigun Forums. Usually I will just hit F5, let the page reload and no problems. Edit: Total forum members online when these incidents happened was between 140 to 175. Cheers ....
  8. Paul, I get a question mark for the Stage 12 Video of Phil Strader. Excellent coverage of the match. Nice interesting stages. Cheers ....
  9. Let me add 2 more Gunsmiths to choose from and in no particular order. 1: Freedom Gunworks 2: Cheely 3: Bedell 4: Limcat 5: Akai We will have soon another 4 OD guns from Limcat(which will make 12 OD guns in total) in our club all built for 9x23 and various design configurations. In the end it is your preference and whichever gunsmith you are comfortable with. Cheers ....
  10. I have heard that some of the 115 gr 9mm factory stuff occasionally doesn't make PF. There was a large thread here a year ago, and many people mentioned that some 9mm factory ammo does NOT make PF in their gun We can only get factory ammo here in Singapore, and so far WWB 9mm(115/124), American Eagle 9mm(124) all make minor in Glock, CZ, STI, Beretta and Tanfoglio PD guns we have here. Cheers ....
  11. From what I understand, JJ will shot PD for Caracal and OD for Limcat. KC will have his Glocks worked on by his present gunsmith. Cheers ....
  12. Jim My favorite was the World Shoot in Bali, 2008. All 36 stages - Same instruction: "On signal, shoot targets." EVERYTHING else was understood ... 2 rounds each (unless specified otherwise), withing the shooting area, don't shoot through walls and props, etc., etc., etc. Strange ... Folks from all those different countries (over a thousand of 'em) and NO ONE had any problem understanding what was understood! Mike, The stage briefing for WS Bali was simple and straight to the point. Maybe because the RM is a man of few words also. Some WSB I have seen end up confusing people more. On stage 36 the WSB also stated you must stay inside the canoe while engaging the targets, you wouldnt believe how many people asked can I have one foot outside the canoe when shooting. Cheers ....
  13. Is the website working, tried with 3 different browsers and all indicate they cant find the website. Cheers .... Edit: Full Link is http://www.parmarng.org/freeidaho/AlSkDjFhG/index.html
  14. I have setup WinMSS with 1 competitor and 1 stage. Cheers ....
  15. Before 01/01/2012 yes you could take a sight picture on single target only,(adjust your DOT for OD), but some decided to target sequence, practice their draws, dry fire many times, etc so the rule was changed. Cheers ....
  16. And those rules may impact your Production shooters the most: No aftermarket parts. Trigger weight requirement. Original factory finish only. And the rule that will impact everybody equally: Walkthroughs must be empty handed. No sight pictures or dry firing allowed at "Make Ready". Skydiver, Not quite correct. Unlike USPSA which uses *Make Ready*, IPSC still uses *Load and Make Ready* for loaded starts and or *Make Ready* for unloaded starts, and there is a difference in the rule especially in 8.3.1.1 I would advise everyone whom wants to shoot IPSC matches to read the rulebook carefully. Cheers ....
  17. I must have missed that rule. Can you post it here? If you look at the image posted, you see the following: Cheers .... Yes, but that text you are referring to is in the IPSC rulebook. The USPSA rulebook does not contain that text. It only has the illustration. So Mark's question still stands: Which rule states that compression is not allowed? Skydiver, Yes I realise that is from the IPSC Rulebook, but in one post Flexmoney, mentioned that USPSA was going or looking at the same wording as IPSC. Which is why I mentioned the new ruling and picture. Another reason also is, at the next WS at Frostproof, thats how IPSC / IROA will measure the magazines, so if you are over 170 the magazines will be rejected. Cheers ....
  18. I must have missed that rule. Can you post it here? If you look at the image posted, you see the following: Cheers ....
  19. I normally use white for all shoot steel, and either black or red for noshoot steel. In the case where a Noshoot target is used behind a popper or plate, it is clearly marked with a X. Cheers ....
  20. Try Google Sketchup. Lots of examples in the warehouse of houses etc ... Cheers ....
  21. I would have a hard time supporting this as a standard. My normal routine is to place the mag into the gauge, wrap my hand around both and if necessary, squeeze. If that brings the magazine body into contact with the two pads, I call that good-to-go. An excerpt from the RO Creed says, "It is my duty to assist all competitors in their attempts to accomplish their goals..." If some effort on my part is needed to have a mag gauge as 'in tolerance', I'll gladly provide it. Nothing says I have to, just as nothing says anyone else has to do the same. But that's what I'll do. The issue with that is...we are looking at using the IPSC wording (regarding no "accordion base pads"). If you squeeze it in, you would be allowing the base pad snug up to the mag tube. Thus, it would be shorter in the gauge than it would be in use on a stage. Thoughts ? What is wrong with measuring magazines this way. Cheers ....
  22. You MEAN Grant is still persisting with trying to run a 9mm ? I remember back in the late 80's in NZ, he was always trying to work up a consistant load for his then 9mm gun, but always had some little problem. Nice gun. Cheers .... Kevin.
  23. Nice setup, what was the approximate cost for the materials you have pictures you posted. Cheers .... Kevin
  24. John, Appreciate the reply. The grip on my AP revolver is also home grown, so to speak, but doesnt have such a wide base as yours, which makes it a little unstable when prone, but managable. Your grip has given me some more idea's. I used to shoot AP actively in NZ when I lived there in the 80's. In Singapore now, the main game is IPSC, but WA1500 / some other forms of PPC matches are creeping in a little so want to get back to challenging myself again. Cheers .... Kevin.
  25. Hi, May I ask where you got the handgrip for your revolver. Cheers ....
