  1. That s not true. My buddy has a left hand DOH for a 9L. You may have to order from Blade Tech.
  2. Does anyone know of a place that can source an M&P slide for a reasonable price. I really don't want to buy another whole gun but if that is my only option. I have had this idea that I wanted to try but I don't want to buy a whole gun then figure out that it won't work and I have just trashed a slide. I wish that Caspian or some one else would make replacement slides like they do for the G-Locks.
  3. Any idea on a release date? What other cool stuff do you guys have planed for the future? Titanium Strikers maybe? What was wrong with the original design?
  4. I thought I saw this on the SSS Website a few weeks ago and now it is gone. Can some one verify this. I was going to get one to try but it is not there now. Thanks
  5. Sounds like you have a good setup in the gear department. As for the trigger a good polish of all the matting surfaces makes a huge difference, but a trigger job from some of the pros is just awesome. I have not had many problems with leading in my M&P 40 but I shoot it more minor than major at the moment. Until they release a Long Slide model we are at a disadvantage. I have not had any problems with FTF except for when I went to the lighter striker spring. I have heard the 1050 primer setup is a little tuff to dial in.
  6. They make a CR Speed holster for the XD. I think it is the same as the Glock one. I modded my 1911 CR holster to fit my M&P. Just removed the spacers and did a little dremel work. Here is a link to the post I made about it. Scroll down lots of pics. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88124
  7. Does Dan do Hard Crome? I like the looks of a two tone pistol. I am curious of cost to have the slide redone.
  8. A Bomar style sight sounds and looks very doable on an M&P. You wouldn't be able to sink it into the slide very much because of the Firing Pin Block. Burwell machined a slide to take a slide ride Red Dot so he may have some thoughts on this.
  9. Tac Sol is saying that the 22 conversion should be out by 1st quarter of 2010. As for the 40L. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that they will make them. I want one in a bad way.
  10. Your dremel changed the colour??? The green one is a 1911 holster. It was just green with envy.
  11. The fit is great. Nice and tight but still just right for a smoth draw. The only thing to note is that you need to flip the muzzel platform or cut some out of it to clear the rail on the M&P. It fits tight and snug. I ran up and down the stairs, jumped up and down, and ran around with the holster unlocked and locked to see if it would fall out or wiggle lose. I plan to use it in my first match this weekend so we will see how it does. Hope this helps some one else out. I see 1911 CR Speed holsters in the for sale section alot for around $100.
  12. So then I tryed the M&P out in the Glock Holster and it rattled and just didn't fit good. Some Dremel work and and cutting might make it better. Then I tryed the M&P in the 1911 CR Speed with out the shims and thought I could make it work easier. About 5 minutes with the dremel and this is waht I ended up with. A closser look at what I had to do. A little chamfer around the trigger gaurd area and some relief in the front and I was good to go.
  13. Ok, I did some leg work and this is what I came up with. M&P in a Bladetech DOH. Just to see what I started with. A call to CR Speed turned up that the Glock Holsters will accept the M&P and the XD. I dug up an old Glock Holster from a friend and started looking it over. The trigger gaurd area is wider than a 1911 style CR Speed. The 1911 CR Speed holster as a shim stack that can come out to except a wide trigger gaurd.
  14. I know ther are some people out there using the CR Speed holster. Come on people whats the details to make this work.
  15. What mods need to be done to make the M&P fit in the CR Speed holster? I have the 1911 model CR Speed that I want to use, but it looks like it is going to need some major mods to work.
  16. I only shoot the 40S&W myself. This stuff works in my FS 40 models in the super humid Midwest area I live. Don't just load this and think it will work in your gun at sea level or something like that. Crono your loads and know what you are shooting. I have on with ISMI 15lb spring SSS Tungsten Guide rod for Limited and Limited 10. I have another with the 15lb ISMI spring and SSS Stainless rod for Production. Major load: 5.3gr American Select Powder - Wolf or Win SPP - 175gr LSWC - OAL (not sure off the top of my head I will update when I get home and consult my load book) - 169PF Minor load: 3.4gr American Select Powder - Wolf or Win SPP - 175gr LSWC - OAL (not sure off the top of my head I will update when I get home and consult my load book) - 128PF ***Will update with more info when I get my 170GR LSWC, 180gr LTC, and 200gr LTC bullets in and work up some loads. I ordered some VV N320 powder and WIN231 to try also.***
  17. Have you determined why this is? Are the mag springs not strong enough? The mags were setup when I got them, so I am not sure of exact configuration. Let me be clear sometime s it does lock the slide back it just depends on the guns mood. My guess is stock springs just are not strong enough to lock the slide back all the time. I do plan to get some of the 10% springs and try them. I just hear that you can only get 19 reloadable with those. Not that one round is going to make or break me.
  18. The setup you listed is the setup that I am currently running (minus the sights - still thinking about what I want to get). I picked up the mag well and 6 used mags with the Taylor pads for a good price. And have around $850 in the total package minus holster and stuff. I get 20 reloadable in the mags but they do not lock the slide back when dry. The gun shoots great groups and I like the feel of it and it runs like a top. It has some trigger work but I am just having fun shooting it at this time, so I don't want to turn loose of it to get a full on trigger job. The only down fall is it is not a 5" or longer gun. You have to stoke your loads a little more to hit major and the sight radius has to hurt you some. I know a few guys that shoot the FS9 models in production and are A class shooters. It is all about practice and what feels comfortable to you (this is my opinion). You can guarantee that I will have a long slide version in 40 as soon as they ever make one.
  19. Is it possible to change the number of shoots allowed on a single target in EZwin? I need to allow 4 hits to a target instead of two. Thanks for any help.
  20. +1 -lone wolf, KKM or Jarvis is good. No need to change barrels in the two guns mentioned by the poster (XD or M&P). The XD does not like the SWC at all. The M&P seems to run them just fine. Both are good guns and shoot lead just fine. Hope that helps.
  21. Welcome aboard. What kind of blaster did you end up with?
  22. I was thinking about down loading some $) to shoot some steel and production, but have received allot of warning about down loading the 40 to much due to spark over. What the heck is sparkover? From what I have heard it is were the primer will light off the powder in the front of the case before it lights off the powder in the back of the case. Now I don't know if this is more apt to happen with slower burning powders or faster burning powders. I guess a little down loading 101 for the 40 is in order. I currently load 4.9gr of American select under a 170gr LSWC in mixed brass with SP primers (usually WIN but switching to wolf Primers). Thanks for any helpful info.
  23. Did the holes look torn out or like the bullet was tumbling? I have always had bad accuracy with Rainier bullets they do not like to be crimped very much. I have heard people say that they get good groups with them but they just barely kiss the case with the crimp die. Side note the business end of my 1911 seems to get dirty quick shooting Bullseye, but I am going to try some mag primers to see if this helps with that. I have read a few posts on here about the mag primer helping to burn the powder more efficiently. Just a little extra info for loading with Bullseye.
  24. I load that same powder and charge with a 200gr FMJ and CCI Mag primers and it shoots well. You should be ok. You may need to up the powder charge a little to make major. Have fun and be safe.
  25. I have been shooting Missouri Bullets. He gives the club a little discount because we buy alot of bullets from him. They work really well in G35 with KKM and my 1911's. I use Bullseye and American select powders and they seem to be somewhat clean. I just purchased some Ramshot Zip to try. I hear it is cleaner with lead. Here is a link to the bullets. http://www.missouribullet.com/ He is just down the road from me so I go buy and pick them up when I need them and he sponsors a stage or two at our local club matchs alos. Super guy to deal with.
