I started shoot NRA XTC matchs back in 1981 with a H&K 91.... I did ok with it, but I picked up a 'recever sight' at a local Houston gun show and had a mount made for it.... My scores greatly inproved... them i got a bone stock "Texas" M1A and sent it to Clint Fowler for a beding job, barrle install and Blue Print the action.... Did great with it... But then i ordered a 40X from the custom shop and that's when I really started doing well (for me) @ the local matches... then I fell in love and got out of 'rifle' shooting... Took up IDPA shooting in the early 90's and never looked back.... But, my 2 bad knees are holding me back... so... I started looking to do somethong laying DOWN... that's when I saw the F Class guns.... WELL... I'm was hooked... found a SWEET deal on GB and had it shipped to Houston.... .308 Palma gun.... The open "sights" will be for sale soon and I already have a T-36 scope to install............ F Class.... here I come.............

I know you guy's here poo-poo'em here..... BUT.... take a look @ the Taurus PT-1911............. I just picked up a 9mm that has the ebay 70.00 hammer & sear parts in it and it's SWEET................ I have 2 .45's. and 38 Super and a 9mm now... . With all the 'trick' stuff on them and UNDER 700.00 bucks...how can tou go wrong... PLUS......... Taurus has a shooting team now...

My G/F lost her motor in here 10 year old car over the weekend.... I need to make up "our" minds... rebuilt motor.... or.. another car/truck for her.... eather way... it's coming out of my shooting fund... I guess my F class shooting will wait till NEXT year...

Well... my job up here in PA. is coming to a END next Sunday.... for once I don't have to post here looking for places to shoot.... I'm coming home and have a project working between Cleveland and Livingston TX. on the Keystone pipeline for the next year or more...

I work pipeline construction all over the contry, so reloading is kinda hard for me to do in my travle trailer.. So I alway get my 38 super from Atlanta Arms..... I think I just had my 5th. case shiped to me up here in PA. in the last 5 years of shooting open.....

How big of exhaust did you install????? Did you do a CAT bac back system???? My 6.7 just turned 36,000 miles and it will be 2 years old on the 17th.....

There is no dought that Eddie is the man and I even talked to him @ the Pearland match one time... but.. in my line of work... when I get the call to go to a job.. I'm gone to it... bottom line.. it was ONLY a time thing.. and when I get back from the job I'm on now in SW PA and make it back to houston.. he will be working on my .22 steel project I have picked up....

When I shot IDPA, I would bring my 1911 and a G-21.... I had a Fobus setup for the Glock just in case something "happened" to my 1911... BUT, also... if someone came with a shooter to watch.... I would ask them if they wanted to shoot, I would loan out my 21 and would get euff ammo from other shooters for them to shoot the match.... I did that MANY times....

Just got back to work.... GREAT film.... left it to make MORE epsiodes... bike chase part was very good.............. :rolleyes:

With 2 bad knees and back problems.... slow is the ONLY speed I have... I cleaned a couple of stages last Sunday and the RO needed a sun dial to time me... but I was having FUN... And when the scores come out... I will have had eaged out some FASTER shooters with my better scores... :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I love all 5 of mine.... 9mm, 38 Super (non Pimped out) and 3 45 ACP's... one of the .45's has OVER 15,000 rounds on it... They are tempting. $400 for a full house 1911 from CDNN Yep... those are the pimped out one..............
