Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Interesting. I haven't shot the CMC but I have an SD3G and I imagine it to be VERY different, considering there's no discernable wall/break. It's a rolling break, as in there's some take up and then all of sudden the hammer drops. Can't feel a wall at all. Excellent reset and fast trigger, but I imagine it's VERY different than the CMC single stage which people describe as having a wall a clean break. Anyone with both care to chime in?
  2. thanks to you beautiful people, i've picked up an M3K in 24" . Bought some MOA goodies: their +6 extension kit, double-headed safety, stainless bolt handle, and oversized bolt release. Looking to shoot my first 3gun later this month.
  3. Lookalikea space gun with that comp, kinda cool. Buts what do I know about cool, I'd shoot a piece of warm poo if it shot sweet!
  4. Well, they're not easy. They're not too hard though. The trigger pin/spring can be a real pain in the butt. I recommend making a slave pin, which is a life saver. The red straws that come with air compressors are the perfect size, that's what I use as a slave pin.

Send it to CZCustom or Matt mink. Or trade it for a shadow and then send it to Stuart or Matt mink
  6. SS is where your gun choice will be most competitive. L10 would not make sense for you.
  7. I shoot both eyes open but for 15 yards and further I might close a eye.
  8. When I see my targets, I sometimes wonder if I was shooting both eyes closed.
  9. If you're in SoCal, OC Armory does SSE on CZs. Valkyrie Arms used to, but it sounds like they've gone under.
  10. I've never accidentally engaged it, and my thumb rests on it when I'm shooting so even if I accidentally did, I'd flip it down naturally when I aim because that's where my thumb goes. Is there enough resistance in your safety? Might need to stretch out your safety detent spring maybe.
  11. I just don't see enough people wanting a division like you described. It sounds an awful lot like regular open, just barely less expensive. And L10 will never disappear. There's too many Californians and other ridic states for it to go away. I would however like to see a Limited Minor ONLY division. I think a lot of people would be for that.
  12. ah bummer I thought i had read that if it was an SAO gun I'd have to remove the trigger now. Thanks for the clarification, Stuart. Unfortunately both the guns I'm changing are SAO.
  13. hey. New here also from West Monroe. Well, I'm from Los Angeles but I'm currently living and working in west monroe on a TV show. Welcome!
  14. Copy, thank you for all the tips.
