I would agree, could be the pre and over travel are so close when you have a
full mag in the gun it tweeks the frame so ever slightly and you loose your
settings.follow usmc0326 instructions this should clear it up.
I like the feeling you get when you know the custom gun you ordered is
just a few weeks from being sent.like a kid the first week of december,
knowing santa is bringing just what you asked for.
I had stopped shooting for about 18 months and had only shot glocks.
Came back to shooting and shot a buddys 75 shadow and shot it very well.
Them bought a czechmate and found it is a different beast.Still shot well
just different.Have since gone back to glock. It would be nice to get the
shadow in .40 for about the same $ 1200.00 to shoot limited.
I also think alot has to do with the way the gun feels and handles.
Shorter gun for me seems to be abit faster between targets.Plus
some shooters just like the looks of a shorter or longer gun..
Do you have any picks of the followers you modified.I did mine the way dave said and can get 20 in them, but no way i will be able to start with one in the gun.Very tight and slide drags. So 19 plus 1 is all i can get.
I never had any issue with the 140 mags and cv custom bases, and
after talking the grams and installing his follower in the big stick
it ran great 27 rounds and one in the tube. (28) at the buzzer.
If you plan on high cut under trigger and alittle out of the beaver tail area than the sjc
will work great. If hands are normal size or slightly large the sjc will really pinch your hand with
out the high cuts on the frame. If you plan on leaving the frame stock the dawson is a great choice.
I love the dark grey finish on the carver guns.Bobby is building 3 new guns for my self a full open and a steel gun both in 9mm.Hoping to have at least one by mid may.will post some pics.He will then start the build on my 24 limited gun.Cant wait
love shooting some plastic.I would love to try a 40 open. That would be a good idea for my next project.
