You are correct, however Shay at Akai does. I have personally shot a nemesis, as well as a custom akai with the tungsten barrel and stroke job. Hands down without a question the akai did not recoil as much… However we are talking about very small difference. Not necessarily as big of a deal with iron sights… But if I end up putting a optic on it, if USPSA changes their rules… I wanted to track as best as possible

How does everyone feel about long stroking limited guns? Does this require cutting the dust cover, reverse plug, and the frame rails? Thank you in advance for any information pointing me in the right direction.

Can someone confirm if you must cut the frame rails in addition to the dust cover and reverse plug, or is it one or all 3? thanks in advance

I have one for my S2 and it’s amazing, honestly worth the wait. Plus I always like to support small businesses that supports the sport we all love, as well as actually compete. Give the guy a break… he really is a super nice guy with a great idea and product.

Have you tried a magazine spacer? I’m having the same problem and was told today to try that… have not ordered yet

This is my first year shooting in Steel Challenge, and I notice when I don’t practice for even a couple of weeks it can really affect my times. I don’t want to start from the beginning again next year, so I’m wondering what everyone else does so they don’t slow down.

I personally go to bed early 9-10 force myself to sleep… then get up at 4AM, Sh** Shower Shave… stretch… dry fire 30 min… check my equipment one last time… and I’m usually packed the night before so I don’t have to start really thinking until I get to the match. Then I get a small breakfast somewhere on my way to the match. This has helped me grow a lot this year.

Atlas Athena (DLC) or Artemis (hard chrome) if the price is close? What would you pick?

Well I actually shot the prodigy today and I have to say it looks ok and feels ok… but it’s no where near atlas or even staccato/bul quality for that matter…

What about in a sight tracker setup with a lighter slide using 200gr federal syntec. I have tried 10-14 and can’t decide, but currently running the 11lb

I agree every gun unless we are talking a full custom SVI are all over sprung from the factory to extend the life of the pistol

Try Eemann springs… they work will for me. But I would recommend buying a few and testing the weight… don’t just trust the number on the bag/box

You could also play with spring length and shock buffs… I think wolf makes a 5 and 6 lb spring. I would try that as well with the comp.

I think the prodigy needs a lot more than just a trigger job… egw internals and a lot of polishing… non mim parts…especially the safety

I appreciate the comments… The worst part is I called all four of them today, hoping a few questions would help me decide… the only one that answered the phone was infinity… and unfortunately she couldn’t answer my questions, but did write them down and take my name and number.
