tha1000
Can I drill through a hard chromed grip safety or is that going to cause the finish to flake off?

HI5-O
Why not drill the main spring housing? Pin can be bent towards the ledge of the grip safety to keep in deactivated.

I really didn't think to bend the pin, i just thought to drill a hole for said pin to go into. I'll try to look at it tonight to see if it will work on my gun. S&W686
This is how I pinned my Open Gun. I used a Wilson Combat Shock Buff and cut it to fit. This has worked great for me. Edited July 23, 2017 by S&W686
